SARDAR PATEL VIDYALAYA ADMISSION LIST

Hi Sakshi,

SPV declared a list (for document verification) on 21st. we had applied but we didn't figure on the list.

My queries are:

1.How have they arrived at these 302 candidates? is it solely based on points ( the site mentioned that first list of candidates based on this list (declared on 21st) will be declared on 15th.

2. What is usually the minimum (point) that one needs to have to get shortlisted in this list of SPV?

3. Besides the parameters/criteria provided on the registration form, do they use any other parameter? or they strictly follow what theY declare.

4. Do they also have a provision for KG or Class 1 admission? or does the next level of admission happen in the IX standard?

looking forward to some clarity.

Regarding Class 1 Admission

See this and you can leave your query for Mohik Garg  as he got Class1 ( you can ask for procedure nothing on the school website)

One quick glance at SPV list shows preference to Gujarati people and multilingual... Muslims... Urdu speaking, Christians and South Indians...

hmmm..could be..but really difficult to gauge...

we speak three languages...and one of the languages happens to be one of the 3rd languages they offer.

Read the school website and the third languages they offer and if I remember they asked what all languages you aa parents speak read and write even... And what languages are spoken at home... So it's more like selection based on languages you and your kids are exposed too...

Siddhartha basu seems Bengali to me and he is done with doc verification... Check with him...

@ Hari B, there is a list of non gujrati candidates...so, it is difficult to guess the criteria..hope someone throws some light on the matter..

Dear Sakshi,

The names of shortlisted candidates (published on 24th Jan on SPV site) are not there on the list available on DOE website. Is it possible? or, am i making a mistake/unable to see properly while trying to match the names in both the lists?

my opinion only there is no way to confirm: DOE list from SPV is incomplete. I expect the full list to be north of 3k candidates if not 4k.

could be..i agree.....i was doing a random check of about 10 names and none appeared on the DOE list..
