INSTRUCTIONS FOR DRAW OF LOTS :
Parents are requested to be present at the time of the Draw.
1. In case of any absentees, parents present will fill the slip for the Draw of Lots.
2. Twins have been identified and marked in the list below by an Asterix (*). In
case any ‘Twin’ has been missed out, please notify at dpsi.saket@gmail.com
by 26th January, 2019.
3. Note: Under the sibling category if, ‘one of the twin applicant’s gets selected
then the other will be considered under sibling category, otherwise not.
4. It is anticipated that the process may take an hour or more.
5. The applicants will be considered against a seat, subject to document
verification.
6. The result of the Draw of Lots will be displayed on the school website on 30th
January, 2019 by 9:00 am.
IMPORTANT:
 It is mandatory to bring a printout of the Registration Form for the Draw.
 Report to the venue 15 min before draw of lots
 Since the number of the candidates for the Draw of Lots is more, it will be
appreciated if only one parent is present for the draw.
 No person other than the parent will be allowed.
 Kindly do not bring your child for the Draw of Lots.
 For security purposes, no personal belongings other than a phone &
wallet and a folder of necessary documents will be allowed in the school
premises.

Reserved Seats

Seats reserved for EWS 92 (25%)
Staff Ward 18 (5%)
Management Quota 74 (20%)

 

Since seats reserved for Staff Wards are 18 and the no. of applicants this year are 2, the remaining/extra 16 seats will be rolled over to Draw I (Girls) & Draw II (Boys) equally.

Seats : 184 + 16 (Staff wards)=200

Since 50% seats are reserved for Boys and 50% for Girls, two draws  will be conducted, one for Boys and one for Girls.

GENERAL CATEGORY

 

1. Those candidates who have scored 90& 80 points have qualified for admission to Pre-School(Nursery).

2. Only those candidates who have scored 70 points are eligible for the draw of lots.

3. The draw of lots will take place on Thursday, 31 January 2019 at 12.30 pm in the school premises.

4. Parents of eligible candidates are requested to carry the acknowledgement receipt which has the REGISTRATION NO.on it.

5. The acknowledgement receipt has to be shown at the school gate on Thursday, 31 January 2019 to facilitate entry into the school premises. Entry will start at 12.00 noon. KINDLY ENSURE YOU ARE IN TIME FOR THE DRAW OF LOTS.

6. ONLY ONE representative per candidate will be allowed entry into the school to avoid overcrowding.

7. The presence of parents of the candidates at the time of draw of lots is NOT COMPULSORY.

8. Points have not been awarded if insufficient documents have been submitted.

9. Points have not been awarded to candidates who reside in the following areas as they are not covered under our school bus routes.
