GUIDELINES FOR ADMISSION – NURSERY (2013-2014)

Dated: 18.09.2012

Parents seeking admission for their children should note the following to avoid any inconvenience:-

  1. Eligibility Criteria: For NURSERY: Children born between 1st October, 2008 to 30th September, 2009. (Age: 3.5 yrs to 4.5 yrs as on 31st March 2013).
  2. Child whose age is lesser than/more than above mentioned age, the forms will not be accepted.
  3. Registration forms can be downloaded from the school website (www.stthomasghaziabad.org) from 19th September to 24th September, 2012. It will not be available from the school.
  4. Duly filled Registration Forms and relevant documents are to be attached and submitted at the Registration counter from 25th September to 28th September, 2012. (Timings: 08:30 am – 12:30 pm.). Incomplete forms will be rejected.
  5. Change in the date and time of submission of forms in any case will not be entertained. No form shall be accepted before or after the given date on any ground.
  6. Registration fee at the time of submission of Registration Form is Rs. 300/- (Rupees Three Hundred only). This amount is to be paid in cash along with the Registration Form and is non - refundable.
  7. Original Birth Certificate obtained from the Municipal Corporation/Municipality/Panchayat should be submitted at the time of interaction. (After verification the Original will be returned.)
  8. The list of short listed candidates along with the intimation of dates for informal parental interaction will be displayed on the school notice board on 8th October, 2012 at 10 a.m.
  9. In case you fail to take admission on the date specified, the seat will be offered to the next candidate in the waiting list. No claim for admission will be entertained subsequently.
  10. Mere Registration does not guarantee admission.
  11. No recommendations will be entertained.

Documents to be submitted along with the Registration forms:

  1. Attested copy (by a gazetted officer) of the Birth Certificate obtained from Corporation/Municipality/Panchayat. (Affidavit or Hospital Certificate will not be accepted.) Any change in Date of Birth on later stage will not be accepted.
  2. Baptism Certificate & a letter from the Parish Priest. (For Christian Minority Students Only).
  3. Certified copy of BPL Card issued by the Magistrate. (for BPL Category only)
  4. SC/ST/OBC Certificate (if applicable) to be submitted.
  5. Affix recent passport size photographs at the designated places on the form.
  6. Residence proof. (Rent Deed, Registration of the House, Electricity/Telephone Bill etc.)

Documents needed at the time of interaction:

  1. Medical Fitness Certificate of the candidate.
  2. Family photograph (Post card size, combined one).
  3. Originals of all the documents will be verified at the time of interaction.
