It is and you should atleast lodge a complaint with DoE. However for the time being you do not have any other option than to buy it.

Logically speaking, even a single complaint against a school should put the entire process for that school on hold until the claims are verified.

You will be surprised to see how quickly the schools will act and comply then. :)

Although DOE took a U turn on fixing the upper age cap and left it on the schools discretion, as parent, am facing hell lot of problem as schools are not fixing my kid (with DOB Feb 2009) for nursery. I really don't think it made a significant difference with DOE taking u-turn on this as am in same situation where i waslast year.

Can anybody tell if the schools are closed tomorrow or not so that atleast we can collect and submit the forms.

Schools will remain open expect Sunday's and few close for 2nd Saturday. Due to Bharat Bandh you can just check the website and go.

I reside in west delhi. My daughter is 4+ now and I want to try in better schools other than hansraj model of west delhi. I want to know about KG/Pre-Primary school admissions but could not find an apt link to guide me through. Can you Please help ??

To fill up the Student Registration Form online, the ‘Name of the Student’, his/her ‘Date of Birth’ would first have to be registered by the parent with the School Office by visiting the school. The School Office would then provide a valid ‘Registration Number’ to the parent for the online registration process.

The Online Registration can then be done by the parent from the ‘Online Student Registration’ option using the three valid keys – of ‘Registration Number’, 'Student Name’and ‘Date of Birth’. It is also important to choose the name of the school for which the registration is being done from the drop-down box. The correct prefix (PP, SS or SK) are displayed automatically depending on the school opted for while entering the Registration Number (and hence, do not have to be entered by the parent).

Once the correct entries are made, click 'Get Online Registration Form', which displays the ‘Online Registration Form’. The form has several mandatory questions and a few optional ones, and the parent must carefully fill in the required information in each of these. Some of the fields are initially deactivated at first, and get activated depending on the response of the parent to a preceding question.
