Still I think this will be big problem. There might be chances that due to lottery system a student may get his name in five schools And other does not get his name in even one. And waiting for cut off list may effect the seat in first school. Can anybody tell within how many days do we have to deposit fees in order to secure seat in first cut off lust

In such a situation, schools can take advantage of such a seat (and later can use as a mgmt seat) which is cancelled after getting name in 2-3 schools... let's say if a child secured his seat in 2 schools through lottery ..definitely one seat out of those 2 seats, he/she has to cancel, now its up to the school management whether they disclose this seat for general category or they use this seat as management(donation) seat.. I dont know whether such situations are being taken care in new nursery guidelines....??

Yes, absolutely this issue require clarifiction. otherwise the whole improvement in the admission process will be for nothing,
I request Sumit Vohra ji, Sakshi ji, to please highlight this issue, i will definately call the helpline no. for this issue to be clarified, I also urge other parents to complain about this, collectively we will be able to address this issue.

I agree with deepika karoria.
The solution to this problem could be ensuring that the admission should not be closed on 31st March. Rather, strict regulation under the laid down criteria should continue even after until most of the seats are filled and applicant students living in 8 km radii get admitted to one ofthe applied schools.

Agree with this....parents whose kids name wont come in any lottery...will go through lot of pain.

Only luck of a child matters here. it can be possible that one child can get through lottery in all schools and other child's name will not come in any school. This is all mystery and we are really worried about this. In my case, my child is first born baby boy. And I have only 70 points (the minimum one). Where should my child go.......... dont know. There should be some proper method where we can think of, where our child can go. DOE should think abt this

Govt. should declare that once child taken admission in one school then cancellation wouldn't be possible. Otherwise cancel admission from one school and again taking admission in another school will lead to never ending loop.

How about if any child is getting 75 points will he be clubbed together with children scoring70 for draw of lots?

Mr. Vohra, are schools management aware of the area coming to their 0-8 km radius.... If they are choosing aerial distance, then they must know that the bla bla area's parents can fill the form. othewise parents like me will not get benefit from such schools...
