AS PER CURRENT STATUS ONLY 3 SEATS AVAILABLE FOR 70 POINT CANDIDATES WHO ARE 1425 IN NUMBER.

TOTAL GENERAL SEATS 130 - 127 SEATS GIVEN TO UPTO 75 POINTS CANDIDATES = 3

FOR 3 SEATS LOTTERY AMONGST 1425 STUDENTS.

3 NUMBER CAN GO UP IF CANDIDATES HAVING UPTO 75 POINTS LEAVE OR ARE CANCELLED FOR SOME REASON.

Sakshi, out of 130 general seats 127 have 75 or more points. They have been called for document verification. Rest 1405 applicants with 70 points will fight for remaining 3 seats :(

Some people seem to have registered twice. I hope the school catches this!

As per our last 4-5 year exp.DPS VK will come with 5-6 waitlist as around 20-25 parents will go to vasant valley/shriram/DPS RKP.

Sakshi, Thanks for the pep talk. I am a little disillusioned after seeing so many applicants with Inter state transfer points. It seems things for 70 pointers will get clear only when second lists of schools are out.

deepti, schools where draw is on 75 points, no chance in second list also...yes get some chance in 2nd list where draw will be held on 70 points...this is alarming situation for all 70 pointers...

Nishesh, there are about 59 applicants in DPS VK with 5 interstate points. They must have applied in all other south delhi schools. So i guess approx 59 (+-10) seats in all south delhi schools once filled, we will get a chance.

The sad part is these applicants with fake interstate transfer points will get to choose their preferred school. Is there some way that we can bring out these fake cases? At the end of all this I am hopeful that my daughter will get through one of the schools. But people who have made a mockery of point system by getting fake documents should be penalized

yes u r right...in DPS VK we can expect more(more than 3) seats for draw in 70 pointers after scrutiny of docs... but i want to raise a point apart from transfer cases being fake or genuine...that is ..on what grounds transfer cases should be treated differently..when all of us r at the start of a session and seeking admission in entry level...
