in that case Personal Interest Litigation petition from Alumni guaranteed, (ref ganguly committee)

i can sense sucessful 70 pointer getting ready for another Personal Interest Litigation petition as soon as this one is decided

Folks - understand the agony all over. please do remember that DOE has taken the current decision after a lot of calibration and they already aware that the other section of TP points or most parents on this thread will take action through PIL. please try to understand there stands before filing a PIL. please first get aligned on what is your ask? asks should not be benefit to few but should cause benefit for the bigger masses. Be clear with facts and data points to support your cause.

its true that if transfer points don't make sense then even alumni also don't make sense. get your ask right.

It will be good if the petition is to cancel the alumini points in that case most of the seats will be vacant from earlier 75 points. Only those will have the seats who either got seats through girl'ss quota, sibling  or some lucky ones through draw in 70 pointers category (very few of them even though).

yes we shd go ahead with2 choices a) retain transfer points or b) cancel alumni points also n then re-draw

Go for option 2 that is much better option otherwise with option 1 most of 70 pointers will not be part of draw and again a petition from them which won't go unheard as they will be huge in numbers.

Mr sunil

We are not debating about what points are right and what are wrong at this point in time.
All we are saying is why genuine people should suffer.
70 pointers are allowed to retain their seats on the logic of being fair. Similarly same logic applies to genuine transfer cases also. Their seats have been taken and have not been given a chance to compete for all of the seats.

I agree with Shivani, Schools has verified the docs ... can't you trust the scchool ...

@charu , it would be more logical to focus on transfer points only at the moment.
Alumni points should be there or not is a big debate and cannot be decided just like that.
I am also not in favour of alumni points but at the moment am more focused on injustice to genuine transfer cases.

@shivani, ya for the time being our fight should have a single focus...transfer points shd not be scrapped...let the situation be what it was 2 days back. by the way wats the progress for pil

Shivani, please add me as your friend and I'll let you know the next steps
