Dear,

These guideline were out in the month of December 2013 and today is 01st March 2014, I would like to ask the parents, why were they not approaching the HC till now. Just because the parents have now realized that 70 pointer don't stand a great chance, we are approaching the HC and DOE.

As far as transfer point cases are concerned, it becomes a genuine case for protest as it was being grossly misused by parents and fakes certificates were being used for getting an edge of 5 points. Moreover, giving 5 points extra for transfer cases over people who have been residing for years does not make any real sense.

I think it does not make any sense to delay the admission process any further now and the current points system seems quite balanced and rational now.

Shweta - I agree. And the debate would be never ending since the no. of seats are limited.

We did not know in the first place that parents could go to any length and get fake certificates. 

We did not know that Thousands were not even in the draw. 

When results started pouring in then we realized what has been done to us.

God knows how much one can stoop.

Dear all that is what we all are telling that all the candidates cant be selected in the draw....so dont change the rule at last moment just before 1 day of the final list.....we all are against changing the rule at last moment and putting all of us again including schools in the same confusion and pressure......keep the old guidelines as it is for which all parents has worked and taken lot of efforts for more than one month

Agree. No point in changing the rules. The genuine transfer case candidates should not suffer as they had got seats in a fair manner. Only frauds who forged documents should be penalized and NOT ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE IN THE DRAW going forward

THE Hon'ble Chief Justice clearly Asked , "WHAT IS THE LOGIC OF TRANSFER POINT" , to which DoE has no answer. Its Not about Genuine or Fraud Transfer cases. Its about the bigger point that there is no logic for transfer points.Period.

2. So you got transferred to Delhi , BIG DEAL.Have you done any favours on Delhi by gracing us with your presence here that you get preferential treatment??

Rightly said..and on top of it our incompetent LG did not even answer the HC query - what is the logic behind transfer points. All they said was we'll remove the transfer points. What the heck..is it a game..

It is not fair to change the criteria in the last hour. HC should be sensitive toward our kids. HC should punish the fake transfer cases but points should not be scrapped.most of us have applied in very few schools hoping there chances are bright.but now we r no where due to this current ruling.we should raise our voice against this injustice.

I wonder what the DOE answer would be if asked to explain about the "logic of Alumni Point" in the court
