Nursery Admissions in Delhi NCR 2025-26

Form Dates | Admission Criteria | Results | Fee Details | List of All Schools

Dear all,

I just thought reading Super Educated mind of parents who have read the constitution everyday since the day they were born and not every word but every letter of the constitution is in their blood. The great story of these Super Educated parents.

1) Started with Transfer - Obviously as far as I am concerned, parents were completely at fault (who forged documents) and we as a group are blaming government for this.

2) Now Alumni - Parents reaction is 'Hey I am not alumni, let me try to take this point out'. It will eb betterment of the society. Fundamental right etc. CRAP SUPER EDUCATED PARENTS

3) Sibling - Hey I do not have any Sibling Advantage. Let me try to take this out of contention as well.

4) Distance - I stay near RK Puram. Within 1 km. Let me fight for graded neighbourhood criteria of 1 km. Because of this 8 km rule my chances got screwed.

Come on guys, none of the parents is fighting for anything except admission of their own kid.

PLS DO NOT TRY TO SHOW YOUR EQUALITY ATTITUDE TO THE PARENTS WHO ARE PEACEFULLY WATCHING ALL THIS. I DON NOT KNOW IF EVEN 100 parents are making so much of noise for justice etc.

All I feel is that if we do a voting of people who want smooth process against who want to fight forever then we might have 0.1% of the parents who want to fight and make noise for nothing.

I feel that government is wrong in 1 thing which is to even consider these silly PILs and creating havoc.

For me its the parents who started this mess and government by acknowledging this.

Shruti,

The govt. or the court could have taken balanced approach during the first instance when transfer cases cropped up but at that time they thought to mend the guidelines for now and go on with the process. Instead they should have kept the nursery admission on hold as they are doing now and should have taken a balanced concrete decision.

And now if it is delayed, it for the good of all and not few.  Lets wait till 24th and see what happens. Be optimistic.

I do not think it is going to end on 24th March 2014. The section of Parents who will not be satisfied with the outcome of the HC order will move to SC. I only see the solution to this mess when it moves to SC(this is my personal opinion). Lets wait for more drama on 24th  :-(.

Don't know what will be new guidelines, but one thing is sure that my daughter will loose the seat she secured  as a regular 70 pointer.

ok but after all why these points system??? why not an open draw for all kids eligible as per distance criteria?
my take/view on each criteriae:
-SIBLING CRITERIA: why those kids/parents should suffer who think "HUM DO HAMARE EK". Why with 2 or multiple kids should be at advantage?
- ALUMNI: if some parents' parents could not afford schooling in good public schools in their past, and some parents' parents could afford and made their kids(now parents) study in those schools, is that make them an advantageous group for life time? now many parents who did not do schooling from those schools are economically/academically capable enough to make their kids study in those schools. why they should be at disadvantage?
"PLEASE ABOLISH ANY KIND OF POINT SYSTEM" "OPEN DRAW FOR ALL KIDS IN A GIVEN NEIGHBOURHOOD AREA". "NOT FOR THIS TIME BUT ATLEAST IN FUTURE YEARS TO CLEAR THIS MESS, WHICH SEEMS TO BE NEVER ENDING AS EACH YEAR PASSES"
