Will it not be easy to just click on "Get Direction" and enter the Residence address and School address in two boxes and hit ENTER? In rare case the address has to be modified to be traceable on google map!! Am i right?

One more thing while taking print.. Click the "Print" icon on the web page at top of left panel (not on menu bar) and that does a wonderful job if Chrome browser is used. There is option to customize the printout with detailed route and map.

Shifting from One School to another is for sure due to lottery system, there should be some better method as all the parents do not have equal opportunity for their wards

On one hand we ban lottery in India but on the other we play lottery and a draw of lots with our children names and their futures.

Why 8 kms same points?

Why could it not have been graded?

For the want of the shoe the battle was lost. what will we do with children who do not get through any school. Will somebody provide a curriculum for home schooling, because that seems the only way out.

There is no end to problems of nursery admissions. For long, the process of test/interviews was in practice. With that problem might be for some persons, but not to large like this days.  The current process has add many problems to parent community and to some extent school also.

This will never end. one or the other category will always be sufferer.

Dont think the suffering is over after submission. Many schools in-spite of having elaborate web sites are not going to put up the results on web sites. Parents will have to visit a lot of schools for results.

Scares me.

can somebody help me out as my maid is very serious to get her only girl child admitted to some gud school in ashok vihar, phase 1. but there is no school except kulachi as mata jai kaur and montfort doesn't have EWS seats. wht shd she do in such a case

i think we parents should approach mcd/ndmc run schools for admission of our wards. leave dps brand, modern, vasant valley, sardar pate, chinmaya, bluebell, bal bharti, springdales and many other so called branded schools. 

appeal to all parents to send their wards to mcd schools and se the drama of these pvt. schools. these will land in ditches. let us fight for bright future of mcd schools if all elite class unite together.

MCD teachers are also equally paid and even appointed after a designed process of recruitment. Only qualified teachers ar appointed in mcd schools on the basis of merit. They why can't we send our wards to these school.

i know majority of parents will disagree with me. but just imagine what we can do for these schools for their upbringness. Can we take up this issue with the delhi govt.? How many of us will lead the battle from front? Unnecessarily giving undue weightage and respect to these branded schools. Just experience only for one year. These schools will stop donations and any other mode of corruption.

Sir, we don't doubt the quality of such schools' teachers at all.. It should be rather thought at the higher levels. If the quality of government schools had been good,  then EWS quota would not have formed.. Now why do you think somebody belonging to EWS is not ready to send their children to MCD schools? Except for KVs, everybody is aware of MCD run schools.. It is very easy to say such things.. I will just request you to have a look at the children studying near a MCD run school there is no discipline at all.. Everybody aspires for a government teaching job, but ask those teachers will they put their children in such schools..

Since Govt. can't improve their schools they have forced Public Schools to take 25% EWS. So that by the time these 25% EWS reach class 12, the quality of Public School will match with MCD/NDMC/Govt School.

Chhetri, filing petitions/writs/stays is because of very very very poor response and accountability of MCD schools. 100% blame to mcd/NDMC schools which disturbed whole nursery admission process. wastage of time of our learned judges/counsels/petitioners and to large -- the PARENTS.
