Nursery Admissions in Delhi NCR 2025-26

Form Dates | Admission Criteria | Results | Fee Details | List of All Schools

Hello Guys/ Lathaa/Sakshi,

Could someone please tell me the Fee breakup of BGS (Component wise and not lumpsum) ?

I have been hearing lot of praise for this school, so can any one tell me what are the points that takes this school higher than other schools like Modern Convent, RD Rajpal etc.

My daughter is also selected in confirmed list of BGS , but I am having a hard time judging these schools because all of them look decent to me and none of the school stands out at least from a new parents' perspective.

Earlier, I had secured a seat in Modern Convent and compare that to the fee that BGS has (I got a vague idea from this forum that its around 1.25 LPA) is way higher so I am a little confused.

Today I witnesses Bal Bharati draw and I did not like the fact that they have classrooms in poorly lit and ventilated basement, so in a sense I did not feel that it is "best" school in Dwarka.

So please help me understand the qualities that makes one schools better than the other.

Thanks,
Ravi

Modern Convent nursery 40:2 - student teacher ratio- confirmed with the parent whose kid is in nursery at present.

@ lata
In Modern Convent, student-teacher may be in 40:2 in montessori section now, but it had been 60:2 in one section in Montessori and but after that it was 60:1,the main reason of turning away of the parents from this school.
The intake of the Modern Convent has always been very high so please check with the school the intake and the sections. And in higher classes also as many schools merge their sections.

Some schools have low student-teacher ratio in Montessori sections but increase in higher classes is my point. For eg. VIS sec10 increases the student-teacher ratio in higher classes.

May be but when enquired in primary level it's around 40. I most of the schools have student teacher ratio 40~48:1.

hello,

Can u tell me which one is better option bgs or indraprstha

BGS > Indraprastha (best Infrastructure +ICT enabled)

Thank u so much..

Also, guys you can go through the thread: http://www.admissionsnursery.com/group/dwarkaparentsgroupnurseryadm...

This thread helped me alot in making the decision with the BGS as it clearly states what are the pros and cons and of course when I got my son admitted, met the principal, I found most of the things to be true or improved in BGS since the inception of thread. Even I have written a detailed post as well after my first visit.

@Sumanto, Kapil: Congrats a ton, and guys let's catch up on 16th :)

Between Modern Convent and BGS, well there should not be confusion at all in case the fees is not a concern. Also, BGS fees for the first year is 124K around but from next year it comes down to 75-80K.

Sure dheeraj will see you on the 16th, if you see a couple with a tornado rotating around them, then its us :)

Thanks all for your valuable feedback, got my son admitted Today in BGS under mq.

Congrats Vikas!

Why BGS is so costly compare to Bal Bharati, NKB, Modern Convent?

BGS Is actually a medium fee school (so costly would be GD goenka, Presidium etc).

though, this may not apply to all schools, but the thumb rule is-higher fee equals to individual attention and more extracurricular activities.

It is for us to decide how much individual attention we want for our child, and when does individual attention borders on pampering.
