Nursery Admissions in Delhi NCR 2026-27

Form Dates | Admission Criteria | Results | Fee Details | List of All Schools

Dear Mr. Minister,

Though I can understand finding an optimum solution to the pre-primary
/ primary schools is a herculean task in itself, what I completely
fail to comprehend is HOW and WHY the learned members of the Ministry
of Education, or the DoE, or other Govt./ NGO organisations cannot
analyze and gauge pros and cons of each step they take...  in a hurry
albeit, without making use of their OH-SO-SHARP minds !!!

Without any doubt, you guys are so very intelligent and the fact that
you do not even bother to understand the rationale behind any
instruction passed on by you as a diktat which all of a sudden changes the schools' admission criteria from one extreme side
to another extreme side of the scale.

You may not have thought about this, but with the new directives of
yours and your departments' other learned fellows, the average junta
WHO ARE SEEKING ADMISSION FOR THEIR MALE WARDS, OR WHO ARE LUCKILY NOT
SINGLE PARENTS, OR WHOSE WARDS ARE NOT GIRL CHILD; HAVE NOT EVEN A FAIR
CHANCE OF BEING SHORTLISTED EVEN FOR A LUCKY DRAW.

All in all, the simple question that I and a lot of 'normally living
people like myself' are not able to contemplate is WHY cannot the
combined brilliance of the intelligent-cum-elite babu-neta clan at the
helm of affairs are fairly able to draft a commonly acceptable admission
criteria which gives fare chance to all
..  BE IT THE WARD OF SELF-EMPLOYED,
OR ARE OF 'NORMAL' ACADEMIC BACKGROUND, OR FOR THAT MATTER OF FACT
THE-OH-SO-POOR PROFESSIONALLY QUALIFIED PEOPLE LIKE US who have now
started asking their own respective parents after being hit by your
directive as to why they let us be professionals in the very first
place.

With warm wishes & salute to the learned elite,
A dejected professionally qualified parent of a
nursery-admission-seeking child.

This show why our country not prospering to the standard it should have been...............it looks as if each school worked hard on date & time at which result should be declared, DOE waited for "appropriate time" to bring in new rule that too not for all the schools to keep professionally qualified people away from admissions unless they have SIBLING or they are ALUMNI............They changed the points criterion but they are not quick to act against schools openly asking heavy donations and schools ........well we should leave this now as nothing is going to happen next year also....???
Why not Mr. Vinay? Why shouldn't we shout that enough to at least pain the ear drums of the out-of-the-world-intelligent Minister and his dumb babus?

See, it is clear that people like you and me who are professionally qualified have anything against other parents who are self employed or who are of normal academic background. BUT WHY WE BEAR THE PENALTY?

Had the Minister and his babus some mind, they could have at least told the schools to shortlist candidates on the basis of lucky draw after scrutinizing the forms. This way, at least, the results would not have been lop-sided favouring only 3 categories.

Not surprisingly then, the nursery class students in the new session will only EITHER BE A CASE OF BEING SIBLINGS, OR WARDS OF ALUMNI, OR GIRL CHILDREN. Like someone other said in one of the forums, girls must be encouraged and given preference, but not at the behest of boys.
