IT WAS UNFAIR TO REMOVE POINTS FOR PROFFESION/EDUCATION IN FEW SCHOOLS MANY OTHER SCHOOLS HAD ALREADY SELECTED CHILDERN ON THIS BASIS - TIMES OF INDIA (3FEB) C REPLY BY PRINCIPALS/EDUCATION MINISTER
Yes Sumit ji early morning we saw u.... U got a good coverage....
TOP OF ALL..........
Lovely ji must b ashamed of himself.....
N thanx for the concern.....
this has created more confusion now....some schools r going with it and some are not ...now who is going to moniter that its a fair game.....schools like ryan (vk)...which is already in news for asking for donations ,has alloted 25 points to minority...and tht too christian and 20 points to other minoriyty.....who is going to check tht schools r filling seats as they r showing in the list., and it seems tht mdern school is not a part of delhi, and govt can rule it .....thay so much of attitude even the staff...they r not coming up with the waiting list
This is so much frustrating experience for me in getting admission of my son in nursery in delhi schools. The admission criteria of almost all the school was not transparent. When contacted each of the school replied that the admission was done based on the lucky draw.
Isn't it very much strange that admission of a child is done based on the lucky draw like a lottery. I couldn't know that my son name was included in draw or not.
It is very much frustrating that having the Engineering degree myself and MBA degree with my wife with good job in delhi we could not get success in getting admission of my son in Delhi. The criteria of selecting a child based on the lucky draw is totally out of my mind.
I have seen examples where parents who have applied in more than 18-20 schools don't get admission of their ward. This is like a lottery e.g. even if we buy more than 100 tickets we can't be ensure of our prize.
Isn't it a nonsense criteria???
I think that the crietria of having interaction with parents or with child was more competitive than the lucky draw.
Mr. Education minister please look in to the matter and do something for deserving parents.
The Schools are asking to submit the original Birth certificate of child, not the attested (by gazette officers) copies.
So, Can you suggest me is it a rule as per government or monopoly by schools ?
If it is monopoly by Schools, we can suggest to parents not to do that, else we have to go to the NDMC office for another copy for other purpose and they will also take charges.
And we know the birth certificate is not only for school admission, if other departments like passport office will do same then how many copies will we collect from NDMC?

I have applied in three schools but I have not been listed in any one of them. I am not able to understand what should I do now. Where should I go. I dont know why my application has not been selected. I am living within 3 KMs of all three schools. The voice raised above by Mr. Vohra is 100% right. I am also supporting to this.
Thank You
