I have also had sleepless nights praying for my son, and he got selected finally in a draw...NO REDRAW please!!it would be unjust for us...as suggested, 75 points seats should move to waitlisted kids, and then leftover ahoukd ve taken cor draw

75 points should also go through draws Pooja...y they should be given a privilege to be in the waiting list ...they should also experience wat we have gone through draw after draw where kids were not shortlisted....now that they were lucky to get through one school the whole system is changing...we should support for selected under 70 points not to go through same procedures again..

But when are the new DOE guidelines coming? Also I hope no school is putting out the first list tomorrow?

With comments we atleast will know how many ppl are sailing in the same boat ....waiting that all we are doing from past month and a half ....lets put a pil for selected candidates not to be removed and for rest of the seats there can be a draw with 70 and transfer cases both ....m really worried as i am losing my strength and patience to sit through draws again for 35 school...please have some mercy ...we were selected...only in one school out of 35...wats the guaranty that we will make through the list this time...

Hi Kawal, I completely support your point.Those who have followed the system religiously and have worked hard to secure seats through Lucky draw of 70 points should not be made to suffer because of others who tried to fool the system.Redraw should be only for those seats vacated by Transfer point holders or even better those in waitlist should be automatically moved up.In case there is a redraw,those selected by fair means MUST COME TOGETHER AND FIGHT IT LEGALLY.I WILL JOIN DEFINATELY AND WILL ENCOURAGE OTHER PARENTS TO JOIN AS WELL.I HAVE ALREADY SP0KEN TO 6 SUCH PARENTS AND THEY ARE ALL WITH US.

There shouldn't be redraw for 70 pointers if they have got selected. My son too has got selected in one school thru lottery. He is already 4+.

Given the limited time that we have and all this confusion, best should be that all trf cases should be treated equal with other 70 pointers and take out a draw of the remaining seats. if any 70 pointers have got admission already let them have it. Also the girl child draws were held fairly without the transfer cases being of any influence. So these also should not be re drawn!!! Period!!

Isn't this a vicious circle? Have a draw, then someone gets up from somewhere and challenges one kind of grading. The court gives an order on the same. Then again a draw will happen and someone will have a problem with sibling quota, then alumni and the process will never end! What is the status of children who were lucky to get a seat in this draw? Isn't it unfair on them that the draw will happen again? What about their right? Why shouldn't they go to the court as they were selected following the LG'S order? Also such procedures assume that we parents are sitting totally free at home and only have the job of going for draws and getting rejected from everywhere. This entire point system is a farce. Injustice has not been done away with rather has been replaced by a more severe kind of injustice. Hence, I strongly appeal that those who have been selected through the draw of 70 points should not be disturbed and they should get admission in the respective schools. Madam, its a very serious matter and involves the fate of many children.

Otherwise, it is requested to cancel Points against Sibling & Alumni for the Nursery Admission. Why benefits should be given to one type of category? Everyone has the Right of equality and Right for education in a Good School .

There should not be re-draw further for 70 points kids, those who have been selected.
