Nursery Admissions in Delhi NCR 2025-26

Hi Sakshi.. does shikshantar have a lottery system and do they invite everyone who applies to the school assuming their application is complete? Thanks!

Till previous year they used to have draw of lots but not many parents in last 4-5 years took admissions and they used to open admission again in the name of "Late admissions" (as they could not fill the seats)after first round was over..within one month as i had posted the link for last years "late admissions" of 2017-18 few days back on parents query on this thread only

see below ,so don't know how exactly they are doing things as no parent ever posted details on forum regarding late admissions (i m not sure how many applied for "Late admissions") So you need to confirm the procedure form school for late admissions and many school changed admission procedure in last few years

Last Year Scottish High from FCFS changed it to online forms also some parent posted on Friday or Saturday on this thread only that from this year Suncity is following FCFS inspite of having point system ( only school can tell what they mean by that )

Hi,
Regarding verification of documents done by Salwan public school during Nursery/Pre-Nursery admissions, do they only check the documents with originals or they have hired some agency to conduct such verification of documents on School's behalf? For e.g., Identify proof, address proof, and other documents such as vaccination record of child etc. (as applicable)?

Just curious about the process schools in gurgaon follow in general.

All the school staff does document verification (no 3rd party involved)

Its school specific as most of the schools keep copy of original B.C till the time child is studying in school (you can get easily get multiple copies of original B.C from issuing authority on nominal cost and many authorities have become online also ..in case if you don't have more than one or require it but should be aplied before handing of original B.C to school in case they ask for it) Same happens in Delhi also

Rest many new age school don't keep copy of original B.C

See documents required below and carry zerox of all documents with you as some schools take zerox and chk original at the time of confirmed admissions.

Last year some 3rd parties started process of applying for many school under their single portal in Delhi NCR (most of sought after schools opt for it) but for some schools did who were not doing so well... it backfired as parents posted on forum as 3rd party s/w malfunctioned or had bugs n could not get admission confirmation on time. Many schools parted with them last year after fiasco.

I want to get my child admitted to Nursery and considering schools like DPS-45 and LVIS which have a standardized way of teaching and not very experimental. Looking for one near Sohna Road/ Sec 49. I've heard not so good reviews about DPS-45 given that they have huge class sizes, specially in bigger classes and are non-receptive to any kind of feedback from parents. Some negative feedback on LVIS is also doing the rounds but it's very difficult to compare which is the worst of the two. Can you please help?

Also, is there any other school that falls in the league of these schools? CBSE and standardized teaching curriculum?

I want to admit my child in Amiown in nursery for 2018-19 session and continue till KG but dont want to enroll in AMity 46

Is there any possibility i will get admission in any good school in gurgaon then (also open to IB schools)

or i have to enroll my child in a good school for nursery now only, then it is possible

Limited seats depending on vacancies in 1st grade

yes International normally school like pathways n not so sought after schools open round the year

But would suggest to block you seat in a school of your choice in Nursery (As limited chances in good schools )

I got a call from GDG today regarding admission confirmation for my son and to deposit fee till 12-Aug.

But I am keen to try Scottish High and Shri Ram as well.

Chances of getting admission in Shri Ram is very low as we have only 35 point out of 75.

SH I am not sure whats the criteria of admission as I am staying in sec 10 because of distance might not get admission in SH.

Please suggest what I should do? Should I deposit fee or wait. Any Idea how much fee GDG refund.

As per last year parents confirmation GDG Sec 48 has only 125 seats for General Cat on FCFS basis (Out of 250 seats ,125 are promoted from Pre-Nursery )

Just double check with school (as fee refund is school specific)

I think they follow Delhi fee refund policy as no uniform rules in Harayana for fee refund policy

Rest Shriram and SH both are ICSE n not easy to get through

Talk to parents of school/see infra/security n if satisfied block your seat as this is among front runners of Gurgaon schools (Also CBSE)

See reviews by parents of GDG below as parents whose wars are studying are quite satisfied.
