After the court orders that schools can go ahead with their own criteria for nursery admissions 2016-17 all I have been looking forward to is fetching the list of schools in Delhi and going through each one's website. As a first time parent, I was unable to focus my search as I thought to apply in all schools. But certain schools have too unpredictable and uncalled for criteria that only the chosen few have the key to success.

Why is it that the schools are to decide which child it can take? Why are parents at the reviving ends of the schools? How can the untapped talent of a child be determined by the vague criterias set by schools? Why is it not that the parents themselves confine their choices to the nearest school?
