Hi,
My child's orientation went good in KR mangalam gk-II. Though the orientation was a bit unorganized and after tht i was a bit worried abt my decision.But as my son started going fr the adaptation course all my daughts were cleared.he came so happy frm the school and now whn the adaptation course is over he wants to go to school asap.Even the teachers are very pleasant and just in 5 days my son tells that ruchi mam is his friend.

The orientation of VIS sector 10 went very well as expected, there were almost 150 parents who attended the same. We were told about VIS rules and regulations, my son is in Jasmine and class is 201.
After the principle of main school speech, parents were asked to play some team building games. They have also distributed Alamanac to all children and we have also purchased books and uniform from school itself. The cost of books for the whole year is Rs 1450 and uniform is Rs 1910 which includes 2 set of uniforms and 1 pair of black shoes. Each class contains 2 teachers and 1 maid, class strength is 24 only :)
Overall the orientation was very enchanting and we felt as proud parents for my son be a part of VIS now.
For the group FYI- Nursery, prep and 1 is in VIS kids and 2 onwards wards will go to main school.

Hi All,
We attended the orientation programme at Inderprastha International School on 20th March.It was organized in the school Auditorium,very well planned ,Got to know about the school & its mgt. An interactive session with Dentist,Child Psychologist & pediatrician were organized which was very helpful. Overall it was a great experience.

We had an orientation program of Srijan on 20th Mar 10 and learnt many good things about upbringing of our child, school's activities and parents feedback. All the three points discussed over there were excellent. I wish all the children of The Srijan School the very best of wishes for the session starting next month..

My daughter's orientation at KRM ended today... She came back v happily all 5 days. They even gave a bag full of educational toys today. On calling up the school, they said its for the child development n we will b told the significance of these toys on the day of parents orientation which is on 26th March. She was quite excited to c all the toys.

Hi everyone,
My son's orientation was on 20th at St.Andrews,Patparganj,They explained about their methodology by a cultural programme played by nursery students only.Then we met with the class teacher and transportation department.

Rahul Verma said:We had orientation session at Bal Bharati PP yesterday. They had invited renowned psychologist Dr. Samir and psychiatrist Dr. Lovepreen from Max Healthcare to interact with parents and clarify their doubts/queries. It turned out to be very informative and an eye opener session. The admission kit shared has two good books on parenting. Overall, the school has no hard and fast rules for MONT kids. Even dress rules are relaxed for initial days. Parents are even allowed to accompany kids in the school bus for intial 1/2 days! Maids are available and school has plans for mid-day meals also. Hoping to implement some of the learnings we had. Below are some of the great points the DRs shared with us:
1. Spend time with your child. This does not mean taking your child to a social gathering but a 1-1 session like book reading, cycling, drawing etc.
2. Behavioural issues in kids are 99% due to parents. Either due to ignoring the child or behaving badly in front of the child.
3. Grand parents are ALWAYS a positive impact on the child, Let them pamper the kid. There is no harm if you have an understading with your parents that no difference of opinion will be shown in front of the child.
4. If the siblings fights a lot, punish both of them and don't act as a judge by poiting out the culprit. They will grow up as a team and will not have any hard feelings over your judgements.
5. Physical punishment is a big NO. You may reprimend the child by asking him/her to do some house hold work or do colouring.
6. If the child acts cranky while shopping. Do NOT budge and buy what s/he wants. The child will learn this as a way to get the things done. Exception - If you believe the child needs the item, buy it.

2day I receive call in d morning 4m my friend asking me how was ur child 1st day at d school?(Saplings,Paschim Vihar).I told him dat I have not receive any intimation 4m school regd any orientation or date of joining school. I was very surprised dat new session had already started & my child missed 1st day of his school.ven I enquired 4m school,dey told me 2 come 4 orientation today at 2.00 p.m. In Orientation,dey told us abt their school,timings,transport etc.D big room was jam packed & orientation was not well organized.Dey den give us a file in vich there was an I-card &some details abt school.D date of joining school is 29th Mar(8.30 to 12.30).I hope school vil b up 2 my expectation although orientation was not :( .
