                                                                 GUIDELINES FOR ADMISSION OF EWS / DISADVANTAGED GROUP CHILDREN

 

  1. Reservation of 25% seats against fresh admissions are made in Pre School, Pre Primary and Class 1st  as per guidelines of Directorate of Education, Govt. of NCT of Delhi, Delhi.
  2. There will be no condition of minimum residence period of 03 years.
  3. Admission schedule shall remain same as notified for general category details of which have been given at above and to follow in letter and spirit.
  4. The format of Registration forms remain the same, i.e., already notified by the Directorate of Education to be made available to the individual free of cost without any barrier or hindrances.
  5. No. of seats at the entry level shall not be less than the highest no. of seats in the entry during the previous 3 academic years, i.e., 2011-12, 2012-13 & 2013-14.
  6. Parents will not to be forced to buy prospectus and charging processing fee.
  7. Issuing / Accepting forms will not to be denied.
  8. Proof of residence of parents, the following documents can be considered-

i)                    Ration Card issued in the name of parents ( Mother / Father having name of child)

ii)                  Domicile certificate of child or of his/her parent.

iii)                Voter I-card ( EPIC) of any of the parents.

iv)                Electricity bill / MTNL telephone bill / Water bill / Passport in the name of any of the parent or child.

v)                  Aadhaar card / UID card issued in the name of any of the parent.

 

  1.  Appointment of Observer will be as instructions of Directorate of Education,

 Zone IX.

  1. Distance criteria-

i)                    Admission shall first be observed to eligible students belonging to EWS and DG residing within 1 km. of the specific school.

ii)                  In case the vacancies remain unfilled, students residing within 3 kms. of the school shall be admitted.

iii)                If there are still vacancies then the admission shall be offered to other students residing within 8 km. of the institution.

iv)                Students residing beyond 8 kms. shall be admitted only in case vacancies remain unfilled even after considering all the students within 8 kms. area.

 

The matter is being submitted for considering and also to go by the procedure in letter & spirit so notified by the Directorate of Education without any deviation.

 The schedule information as refereed to at above shall be put up on Notice Board in the first week of January, 2014.
