The city government Wednesday informed the Delhi High Court that it has scraped the five additional points to be given to children of parents who come under the inter-state transfer category in nursery admissions. The department of education informed Justice Manmohan that it carried out a survey in 58 leading private schools in the city and found massive misuse of of the transfer points. A notification in this regard will come Thursday. In December last year, Lt. Governor Najeeb Jung set down new nursery admission norms in which five points were to be allotted in inter-state transfer cases.

thanks sakshi now very clear before the court sunwai delhi government accepted the mistake and rectifying the order.
hope for the best
all schools under doe will now have to accept the new order and do re draw or whatever doe says.
I am sure minority schools will still do as per their own rules as they dont come in this order.

A Big Thanks to all who made this possible by scrapping 5 points to Transfer cases.
These 5 points shall be added to Alumni by making it to 10 points.

There should be neither transfer points nor alumni points, only sibling points for physically handicap brother/sister(s) has to be there in Ideal School hiring system for equal neighborhood opportunity to our innocent kids at entry level who even don't learn anything when born live from mother.

but raja ka beta raja ?... alumni points should be removed since it has not any reasoning and these points should be given to first child.

There should be neither transfer points nor alumni points, only sibling points for physically handicap brother/sister(s) has to be there in Ideal School hiring system for equal neighborhood opportunity to our innocent kids at entry level who even don't learn anything when born live from mother. I had applied for 40+ schools but still could not have justified draw opportunity led even not secured admission in just 4 schools because 70 pointer draw conducted either just for few seats or waiting seats only. Thank God to save my innocent son boot up at entry level schools

and how can schools verified it is first born or second?
For transfer parents needed some certificate from a company here they will just say first born and that's it.

I agree with Sandeep that 5 points be given to first child!
I also agree with you Deepak that verification will be a huge issue and like transfer point people may get fake affidavit to get that extra five, thus putting the genuine first child at disadvantage.
-----------Option 1-------------------------
Improve the schools across the private/govt sector to a level of standard. All the pain of nursery admission will be taken care of. Nobody will complain. I think it is really feasible and the need of hour. With this done every child will have confirmed seat in their locality and only few formal verification would be required. Now our government does have the resources to achieve this..it need to be pursued.
-----------Option 2--------------------------
Government should collect feedback from different stream on regular basis to keep rectifying the system. And the following rectification is a must as we are living in the age of information system
1) Make record keeping for each marriage, birth mandatory. All this data must be interconnected for query from any part of word.
2)Make aware the public about the duty to enroll all the required information to avoid problem in future.
All these cannot be done overnight but need to be pursued by keeping future in mind. Centralize information can be very helpful in verification of facts.
