Saurav, it seems you are very pleased with FAS. do you see any difference in terms of overall growth of your child as compared to other childs going to some other so called good schools with lots of extra curricular activities....

and in FAS what all activities do they do ...like swimming, karate, lawn tennis....?

I know one of the student, who got selected last year in IIT delhi and he did his school from FAS Noida.
One thing I wanted to add is, it is the child interest and passion for the particular field which make them select in the entrance exams, no matter in which school they studied.

yr kid is in which class. Tell us abt 10th, 12th result. from which class they start swimming & skating?

Keeping all my fingers crossed. Results are going to be out on 5th Oct 2013. Getting the same anxiety as if my CBSE board results are going to be out :).

Thanks for the information. You might be quite close on the figures as it was provided by management. However, do they also move the unfilled seats( christian quota, management quota) to the general category.

As per our knowledge and as told by father during interaction, there are around ~600 people called for interaction out of total ~2600 (am assuming this since I saw some people with form no. in 2500). For general category, I believe there would be around 180-200 seats in FAS. Hence, chances of making it to the final list would be around 30% (so, one in every 3 child who was called for interaction should make it to the final list). Please correct in case of any disconnect

NO ILA. My interaction was scheduled on 27th Sep. I just want to know what is my chance of making to the the final list that is going to be out on 5th Oct.
