Thanks Purva for clearing my doubts.

I have also visited APJ and found better than the FAS (as per my last experience). It seems the things got improved in a span of 3 years.

Once again thanks a lot Purva, you are really a big helping hand :)

Megha, Last year also when i went to submit the form to the school reception, the school was working and that time, even I had this concern of hygene and i somehow managed to visit the toilets common to the kids. I found they were perfectly fine, the way school should have. And during the PTM, I went to nursery toilets also with my KID, and they were also fine.
Classrooms are airy and have big windows and they have two fans in each classroom, we always sit in our kid's classroom during PTM.
May be it is a matter of chance, you got to see such kind of picture. But basically it depends person to person, the level of hygine you are looking for. Overall, the basic facilities, Fans, non AC Classroom which i always prefered as i feel, it effects child's immune system.Toilets everything fine.
I happened to get some feedbacks for other schools hygene also. Last year, one of my friend felt during her interaction in APJ Noida, toilets are stinky, bad. APJ PTMs held are not good, they don't attend parents personally, so she withdrew her daughter's admission just because of this.
Therefore, stay cool, it is just a matter of chance and nothing else, you can go for this school.

I also visited many other schools like Apeejay, Ryan and Ramagya to get the clearer picture. But FAS did not allowed for same which made me think again of these issues.

Yes Ashish, I also have no doubts for the academics, other activities and discipline. That is why I also have filled the admission form and keeping in top 3 schools list.

But I am still concerned about the hygiene and other basic facilities. Please somebody help me out in understanding the ground reality.

@manjari,classes are non ac.

@megha , i too got the same information from a last year parent (my cousin) she had same inputs about hygiene & all.

but while following this year for  my son's admission i found school is well balanced in academics as well as extra curricular activities and is very well disciplined.

above all close to my residence, indirapuram .

Purva, help us in this. Classes has AC or not?

I am really confused about it. It would be great if anybody can help me out who got chance to visit the school.

Hi Purva,

I got chance to go to the school in Sep, 2010 for some job interview scheduled so visited the school premises, office, auditorium, washrooms, playground, etc. and found it very bad in terms of hygiene and other basic facilities. I need to wait there for few hours for my second round of interview but due to sunlight in classrooms; fans were very slow; water facility not available; washrooms in bad condition and stinking, etc. I decided to quit from school.

As I was not able to stay there for much time so I have completely excluded it for my daughter’s admission. But after getting the excellent feedback of this school from various forums, friends and other sources I have again decided to include in my schools list. So be sure I again went to visit the school but school staff denied for same and said that they never allow visiting school.

As per the current facilities provided by the school and pics available on website, school infrastructure looks good. I am not sure that whether my previous experience was correct or the infrastructure is actually changed in 3 years. It is also possible that all the schools are like this and we are working in air-conditioned offices, home, car, malls, etc.  are not used to see such buildings.

May be you got opportunity to visit the school recently. Please help me understand the ground reality.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Purva,

Can we request them to declare the interaction time earlier. Does they listen to the parents?
