Yea Rachna..I have a lot of colleagues & friends who have kids studying at Shriram..You can actually make out the difference when you interact with the kids studying there..There is nothing flashy about the school yet they have all facilities and it is especially known for innovative teaching methodology..The teachers are experienced and a lot of them have been transferred from the core Shriram Schools in Delhi & GGN..I've been told Shiv Nadar is equally good but since the school is only till 5th grade till now I'm in two minds about applying there..
Dear All
Pls see recent thread on Shriram Millennium

Hi All, My daughter is in AIS Noida, KG. Teachers are not particular about tiffin from KG onwards, but i think its good only. Children are taught to be responsible and independent from the very beginning starting from tiffin. I think academically as well, Amity is doing a very good job. They have changed the cursive script for KG students by introducing precursive script when they thought children were not able to cope up. Whole focus is on reading, which is really good. But what I miss about school is the transport facilities not upto mark. They are quite average. Also, I am yet to see any extra curricular activities for my child. All in all, school is good, but yes scope for improvement in terms of hygiene, transport etc.
Dear All
I would suggest to read pros n cons of all curriculum as Rachna wanted toknow

Thank you Namrata for answering my queries. Yes even we are in same boat. We did not like the traditional schools very much and are looking for new age schools in Noida area. TSMS is a great school, our only conern is it will 14km from our home in Noida extn, although it's next to my workplace in Noida sector 135 so I can pick and drop my kid myself but that may not work for long term. Will try to look for new age schools in Noida extn area. Many thanks for your views.
Also, this is just our perspective and other parents may beg to differ from it
Jatin, I wanted my child to attend a non conventional school..Schools like Amity & DPS have stuck to traditional approach to teaching & I feel the new age schools would be a better bet since they focus more on holistic development rather than just academics..I have put my child to Shriram and may also apply to Shiv Nadar..
