She would be over age for schools in nursery like amity who have upper cut off age of 4 yrs as i mentioned in my previous post

So she is eligible for nursery in schools which takes 3 yrs 6 months  and in Kg who take 3 yrs on 31 mar

You could have got admission in school this year also in Nursery for schools which take 3 yrs on 31mar 2015 .

Hi Sakshi.. I question was unanswered.. She is Mar 2012 Born & already in some Pre-School Nursery class.. so she will be eligble for Nursert / KG?

Yes all these schools take min 3.yrs on 31 mar 2016

but schools like amity has min 3yrs and upper cot off of 4 yrs on 31 mar  2016

And what about other school like DPS , DAV Ryan , Salwan .. she will be eligible for Nursery / LKG?

Its decent school but has 3 yrs classes before Grade 1 all other schools have 2 classes before Grade 1.(double chk with school)

Amity sector-46  -decent

Salwan Public School,  - mediocre

DAv sector-14 _ very much sought after

The Shri Ram School - Aravali - ICSE board

St. Xavier's High School - New School (1st year over)

Ryan International School,Sector 40 Gurgaon,- Mixed feedback

Scottish High International School - ICSE

Shalom Hills International School- Chk with school new branch not cbse

Suncity World School - Decent

manav rachna international(sector-46 and 51)

Shiv Nadar School - Positive feedback overall

lotus valley - Lot of pressure of academics but positive feedback

Hi Sakshi , My daughter is Mar-2012 born, she will be eligible for Nursery / LKG. She is already in Pre-School  Nursery right now. Also please suggest your thoughts for Blue Bells Sec 10 A

This question remains unanswered because only on this basis i would go about checking individual schools because probably you are the most experienced and knowledgeable resource to comment on this. Please help.

1 Some schools do lottery example (dps sec45 ) some follow point system example DAV sec 14 /Shriram n some Interview example Scottish / Suncity

2 See parents feedback of last year with all criterias (also interview details )

Hello Sakshi,

I am a first time parent and very much in confusion and dilemma.

My son would turn 3 yrs in august 2015 and we are planning to enroll him for nursery admissions in 2016-17 batch. I did all possible research on various kind of schools. I have few questions please help to respond.

My priority is definitely academics and then extra curricular activities. So following are my questions:

1) How are admissions in gurgaon schools made is it point system or lottery or interview of parents+kids? I tried to check individual school website but since admissions are closed so system does'nt show details anywhere for admission procedure.So please help to share some light.

2) Can you rate the following list of schools if possible considering academics as main preference followed by extra curricular activities and yes board is CBSE:

Amity sector-46

Salwan Public School, sectro- 1

DAv sector-14

3) Do i need to prepare my kid for any interview process because he is very introvert and wont open his mouth at all if it comes to strangers. 

This would be of great help if you could give me a neutral opinion as from fellow parents i am getting confused as everyone has a point of view which keeps on clashing and i am unable to decide.
