In second round of Amity Vashundra Sector-6, they asked me following questions:

1.Tell me about your child.

2.What is your office timing?

3.What quality time you spend with child and how?

I have given the answer of above question my level best but still did not got any status for second round.

Can anybody, who is selected in Amity Vasundra Sector-6, share the answer?

I can compare with mine and can understand why I am not selected and what was thier expectation.This might help in another school interaction.

Checked 4th list on school gate today morning and my daughter is selected although it is not updated on website..

a friend of mine had her amity interaction on 13'th of sep. she still has her status as blank, i just want to know has someone got their status as NOT SELECTED yet, as she is stuck  with the result. i cant make it clear bcoz for me earlier the status was blank then showed selected deposit fee by 26'th. can someone help

In 1st round of St. Fransis School, my child was not ready to go without me for the interaction.I talk to the teachers present there and they said after sometime i can go with my child.

I went with my child and my child answer all the questions.

after interview i asked to the teacher wether there is any negative marking for child is not given interview alone. She said No.then,I was quite confident for selection.but for my surprise, my child name was not in the first round result list.

i want to know what the hell school want from child/parents. and on what basis they selected children?

dileep jee st francis followed a very nontransparent process. we were given time slot of 5:30 we reached there at 5:45, they were in a bit hurry. my baby went with them happily came back after 10 min. she was happy but her name was not there in the list, whereas she went to KRM, DPSGV selected in both the schools. i can doubt my answers given, but quite sure about her. she got second prize in recitation competition, awarded as most active child in her class and child with the greatest memory in mothers pride but not selected there. our children have all the potentials its the school which dont deserve our child.

What time was yr interaction I was also there for my 2nd interaction at 8:30AM on 20th. Keeping fingers crossed for the final result.

@shweta  Same happened with my kid he told every thing still result was not selected.

@Reema- at 10:30am on 20th......status--blank till now.

St Fransis has one of the highest fee in indirapuram.and there is very less extra curricular activities.

Dileep jee, i cant trace any pattrern regarding their expectations. as mine interaction was held on 13'th. i got my status updated on 21'st whereas got feedback as selected status from parents who had their interactions after me. so if i was selected as per their norms why my name was not in earlier list or updated on their website?

All- I think Amity Sec 6 has already offered the candidates as per their capacity to deposit fees....so once they see any refusals or no response from them with in due fee deposit date....they pick the same bunch of numbers from pending list and update their results in website.

We are on mercy of selected candidates I believe...

I am confused between GD Goenka - indirapuram and DPSVG. My Daughter has been selected in both. I have already booked the seat at GDG. GDG is only 3 years old. Please provide feedback and suggestions.

Preeti you have to pay approx 49k this including quarterly fees. transportation extra.

amity sec-1 declared 3rd list....no further list will come up..they say....but my status is still blank...

@Girish results was displayed on friday evening on their main gate.They are accepting only cash my husband has deposited 49k cash, don't know why they are accepting only cash not check or draft

The only reason for accepting cash is to not declaring this income in the school records.

My Daughter selected in Jaipuriya and DPSGV, However we have submitted fee in Jaipuriya already to book our seat there...but need suggestion about DPSGV. What about school and it history about fee increase and anything good...would be helpfull for me. thanks.

@sakshi, I reside in Dilshad colony ,not any good school nearby.My daughter is 2.10yrs (will complete 3 yrs in Nov) not fitted in age criteria of DPSI so didn't apply,DPSGV has no transportation for our area so didnt apply, applied only in AMITY-6 but after second interaction no update, i think we have not been selected  bcoz of distance. Personally I am not very much interested in DAV shrestha vihar , VIVEKANAND & DAV SAHEED RAJPAL. Then only  option left with us is of Ryan INT.,mayur vihar -3. I am totally confused.

Is khaitan shahibabad ,Dlf rajinder nagar is better than these east delhi schools ? Plz suggest whether to wait for hese schools or to opt for khaitan or dlf.

 Sonia, Block for seat in khaitan or dlf (as these are good school)and then u can decide afterwards

I have submitted the admission fees in Indirapuram Public School today since my kid was selected there.    I was positively hoping for DPSGV, but unfortunately my daughter did got selected even though the interview went well and she answered all the questions.  I don't understand the criteria on which they select the children.  

I would have waited more and tried Cambridge and St Thomas etc and also Delhi schools in November but wanted to get over with this. 

One of my colleague's daughter is studying in IPS and he gave me a very good feed back about the school, he says although IPS doesn't have a brand name like DPS and Amity but the school is at par with them in terms of facilities and technology like smart classes, foreign language coaching, extra curricular, sports, swimming, IT etc.  The children teacher ratio is 30:1 and the fees is very reasonable comes to around 11 K qtrly including transportation.  They are still accepting forms and if any one have missed out can try. 

Hope that the school will prove good for my child and will know only in a year or 2 about the same.

@Parameshwaran : IPS is just walking distance from my house but still not Select IPS for my Child only reason for kids they have shifted to new building which is under construction ... which i feel is very risky ... try Indus valley its average school and fee is very nominal .. 8000 k per quater (excluding transportation) ..

St Francis is an established school base don missionary principles. It has a good reputation but it focuses more on academics. It is not well known for extra curricular activities & stresses more on education. Also, as per few parents feedback i have, too much pressure on the young kids. The only thing is you also have to be prepared to give as much time to your child to make him perform better in the school.

@Gaurav - I had checked today in the school regarding construction, they said the building will be ready by Jan 12, presently 2 floors are operational ground and basement which have LKG & UKG, the first floor is under construction and will be ready by Jan 13, then they will use Ground & First Floor for LKG and UKG and basement for activities and smart classes.  

BTW they are doing construction work only after school hours and holidays only.   Since my kid will join the school in April so don't think any issues since the school will be fully ready by then.

@vivek Father Agnel is far far better than DPSGV

i've also come know through this forum only that fas is better, unfortunetly form not selected. any one tell me the pm fee structure of amity sec 6.

Hey Disha, Thanks for your resposne but any specific area like acaedemic rigor or extra circular is better in father Agnel vis vis DPSGV....

@shweta im not 100% sure but still it will cost you around 6500 per month with transport.
