@vivek you answered ur question urself as FAS is older than DPSGV its curriculum is very well designed as well as it gives an overall development to the kid whereas DPSGV recently has undergone such a big blunder (6yr old girl case) its the 2nd case in the school in past 3 yrs so plz do take care of ur kid & plz go with FAS :)

@Disha, thanks for your response....i just checked , the schools actually got established in 2000 [dpsgv] & 2001[fr agnel]...which means they would have similar years of experience....but the 2nd point you mentioned is quite valid.....with the kind of security environment prevelant ....

Also would appreciate if you could share any information on the overall 12th Class results for the 2 schools...that would be quite a help....

@Vivek i haven't done this much of research over both the schools but yes be positive about your child & make sure that he/she creates history in the school records, always encourage him & be very cautious about kids security :)

 I do not details for Amity Sect-6 but this was what was shared earliar for Amity Noida.

The break up of the fees is as follows for Amity Noida:

One Time - 16500 (Admission Fee - 6500, Caution money - 8000, Building Fund - 2000)
Annual Fees - 26000 ( Annual Charges - 12000, Activity Charges - 10000 & Study Material Charges - 4000)
Quarterly Fees 13500 (Tuition Fees - 12450, Sports - 750 & Mini Tennis Charges - 300)

@ Amity Sec 6 Seekers- Have been to school today..attached is the 5th list of selected candidates...my kid is still not in..office staff was saying one more list will be published by today evening and one more on 3rd oct.

BTW when u had ur interaction...if its around 20th then i doubt 2nd and 3rd list will applicable to you.

Mine was on 17th & our interaction was very good so we were quiet hopeful, but I don't know what happen then, the only fact is that we are still waiting

@ Father Agnel Seekers - I can see the results are already updated on website for the interaction round which they said will be updated by 6 PM today.....anyone has the same case.....my kid is showing not selected :-(

Saurabh, please check in the Father Agnel group, everyone is getting the same status but it is not confirmed if they have uploaded the result.

I need suggestion from you all. I had filled forms in selected 5 schools, DPSGV, Amity Vasundhara Sec-6, Bal Bharti Brij Vihar, FAS Noida & DPS Noida. My child got selected in 3 i.e Amity sec-6, DPSGV & Bal Bharti. I left the options of Bal Bharti & Amity Sec-6, For Amity Last date was 21st. In FAS Noida, form was not shortlisted. I dont know why?  In DPS Noida, we had interaction on 22nd and have been asked to wait till 7th. But tomorrow is the last date for submission of fee at DPSGV. Pls suggest, what to do ?

@ sanjeev i too have the same problem my interaction at DPS NOIDA too was on 22nd & my last date to book my seat at Amity is tomorrow, donno what to do? What % of hopes u have from DPS NOIDA & how ur & ur kid's interaction went @ DPS Noida. Do share ur view will surely help me to look forward :)

Sanjeev, you better block your seat in DPSGV dont wait for DPS Noida as one cannot be sure of the results. I know we will be blocking our funds but as a parent we have to do that, no other option :(

Guys, always block your first seat as admission process has no transparency. Even if your interaction at a school went well, you cannot be sure of the result. So grab the first chance available.

Dear Sonia, no idea what they looked in my form, may be they selected my child coz my hubby is working in Noida. Also we have submitted the allotment letter of our new house in Noida. But Sonia by far this was the most difficult interaction me & my kid faced... phewwww i too was screwed, it took almost 4hrs to complete the complete interaction process :)

Sonia, tomorrow is the last day for DPSGV so guess will submit fees there, other option is Indus Valley where we can submit by Friday. Still confused actually :(

@ Disha - The interaction of my kid at DPS N went very well. Did all the activities and answered all the questions. Even ours also went well we were asked to just introduce ourselves, nothing else.  I am from Vasundhara.  I am also thinking to go with DPSGV and leave the hopes of DPS N. Academically DPSGV is also good. What they lack in, is only fluency and style in English Communication as I talked to few students during my school visit before filling the form. Regarding security, such cases can happen in any school, DPS Rk Puram had also one MMS case. I talked to few students of DPS N also. Although they were very fluent and stylish in conversation but I could feel a rudeness or you can say ego in them.  Keeping distance in mind and the scorching heat while travelling in bus in the summer months, I think I should go with DPSGV. 

@ sonia... thanks for ur best wishes but you know my greatest problem is Amity's refund policy which is giving back funds after 1year of seat withdrawal .... GOD i was never stress this much not even while i was facing my board exams... ufff really spinning

Thanks for your suggestion. I will submit the fee tomorrow at DPSGV. In case I get a seat in DPS N. Then what should I do? Stick to my decision of selecting DPSGV or go for DPS N. I do not know policy of refund of DPSGV.

sweety you should go with dpsv as this is better than indus valley in academic front...

Sonia dont worry too much about shortlisting process. We will never be able to judge, same happened in FAS, some pple were saying they shortlist on basis of the answers, some say location, some say its a draw. No point thinking about this, its better to look at the next available option.

Gauri Shanker Ji, Thank you , i got feedback that DPSGV is better my only issue is after 4 years we will shift to Noida, so Indus valley will still be accessible from our new location. You know how this admission process is , don't want to go through this again, that's why i am stuck

Hi Sweety, DPSGV buses cater to Noida and it is definitely better than Indus Vally. You can check the Bus routes. Moreover, whole school is air conditioned, the child will be comfortable whole day, hence active. He will have to face the heat in the afternoon only which will make him little tired (if you think that distance from Noida to Vasundhara will be too much). Obviously, the final decision parents only can take , we can only suggest.

My kiddo is selected in sec-1 amity there refund policy is- 

10000 deduction out of total admission fee if withdrawn by dec 2012

25000 deduction out of total admission fee if withdrawn by march 2013

Whatever the refund amount is, you'll get after 1year. 

I have received an  offer letter from school which has all these details written clearly

@Satyanveshi - Why you have decided not to go fr Amity Sec 6...any reason..some negativity u see...if u can share plz ..may help me and others..
