Prateek bhai, DPS is a great school, You have made d right choice, dont have second thoughts about it, I have to admit, watching other parents opting for other schools has made me also nervous about summerfields, but I decided to stick to it, you have to b confident about d choices you make, very little difference between schools it depends on individual teachers & mostly on a kids own learning ability., I think you child is in good hands with DPS

Many thanks Lathaa.

I will never forget the commendable job done by this website and its flag bearers. Shall inform each and everyone about AN.COM who God forbid, faces problems with their child's admission in the future..

Ankush - Indian School has limited school transport facility - personally seen it. Private cab vendors are few and are also not keen on their job

Ankush - Approach/e-mail Indian School immediately if not already done. The guard at the gate is a hindrance - you can speak with them on the 2nd number posted on website - they listen patiently.

Summer Fields is another good option which you may try immediately..

@Ranjan Das, Thanks for the update. I am aware that The Foundation Timings are different that is why I did not enrolled my kids(twin case) in that school despite having my daughter names in the DOL list.  I know The Indian school do not have their own transport but there are private transport/cabs available. Even FAPS do not have their own transport and a private cab vendor do the pick & drop.

Or you are trying to update there are no private cab vendors willing for The Indian school. Dropping the kids in the morning is not a problem for me but picking them will be a problem.

When I got the call it was from The Foundation school and admission was about The Foundation School.  Lets see whether I get the call for The Indian School admission or not..

Ankush - the only difference between Indian and Foundation is the timing. Transportation seems to be a problem there and will be better to have own transport instead.

For Foundation, as cited by Mark earlier, the timing initially for 1/2 years might not be an issue but one cannot expect this timing to go on when a child grows up as he might be left with very limited/no peers in neighbourhood because his activity time will not match with them..
