Ankush ji, Big school ka charm hi aisa hai, if d kids like it its good, but you hav to take d final call keeping in mind future prospects, although FAPS is good academically but, ICSE BOARD, high child teacher ratio are some put offs, if you get a chance in INDIAN switch karo, aur khush raho.

I am seeing issue with transport as i opted fr private cab outside school since school doesnt provide transport..dey leave children outside school n if u late by couple of min gates of school r closed...how can u expect small children to be left outside school in such case...i m worried about how to fix transport issues as private cab doesnt seem safe...how r u manaing this...any guidance on how to fix this

Comment by Ankush Grover on May 21, 2014 at 8:01am: My Kids(twin case) are already studying in the FAPS, my focus is more on the academics but won't mind blend of both (academics and extra-curricular activities) in a school. The issues I see with FAPS is high student:teacher ratio it is like 70:2 and also, it seems they do not study the mindset of the kids before deciding on the syllabus or books to follow like they have given a page of cursive writing to be done in summer holidays. I wonder how they can expect a kid to do cursive writing when he/she kids have just learnt writing 'A' &'B'.

The only school I can think of enrolling my kids is The Indian School(Not The Foundation School) as admissions in other schools are almost over. I can visit the school and talk to the Principal/Admission-in-charge for the enrolling of my kids provided they have seats.

At the same time my kids are pretty happy in FAPS, in-fact they refused to go the summer camp in their play school "Shemrock" which has very good teacher:student ratio like 1:18 and keep on asking on the daily basis when they will be going to FAPS again..

So I am slightly confused whether to keep them in FAPS or look for some other school.

Comment by Harsimrat Singh on May 21, 2014 at 7:26am: Finally got my son admitted in indian school. Thanks to all members especially sakshi n mark for their valuable inputs. Wished to get better options like MIS, BVN or Amity but would settle for this as well.
