SC is boss for HC judges.

HC is boss for distruct court judges.

rvg:- no it is not the case. SC has to decide on merits of the case. By the way LG/DOE are opposite parties they will oppose re-introduction of 5 points.

Well good opportunity for our lawyer parent friends to sharpen their skills on the nitty-grittys of the law. But unfortunately  our children are paying the price.

@Sachin. what is the shortest way of coming out of litigations? What are the odds of matter being settled for once by SC on 21st.

complete stay on admissions

Comment by Nandita Gupya on April 16, 2014 at 6:15pm

SC had put a stay till 16th, HC does not want to take a decision as now the case is with SC, SC will hear the case on 21st as per the advance list, so technically is there a stay now or not

Ankush SC only has benches of minimum 2 judges so no further appeal until or unless issue is of constitution of India then it is referred to a larger bench of 5 or more judges.

@sachhin so if there is no one opposing IST in supreme court, isn't it natural for the judge to rule in their favour?

Comment by Ankush Grover on April 16, 2014 at 6:11pm

If it is a single bench of SC then it can be challenged in division bench and also, there is option for review petition. I am not lawyer just basic understanding about the Court.
