yes, i know that after going to school for 10-15 days, my child will also say that he dont want to go to school. But since i am a working mother, my son stays at home with my in laws and since he is a first child, he is all alone at home, i mean no kids to play. Only after when i come to home, he can play with me. But i have a limited time only.
therefore, i would have been happy if goes to school for half day, and rests at home then
Sakshi mam don't you think that the orders from court DOE has changed so many times. Due to which there is confusion in school/parents and everyone. Dear all the parents don't
you think that we should end this chapter for our kids sake. All shall get seats we cannot make everyone happy.
Every year there are admissions. Is year kya kuch jyada students aa gyae hai???????????????????????
I am sorry if i hurt genuine people but its equally frustrating for everyone...having the name in the list or not doesn't matter.
Ankush then why not give to unsuccessful 70 pointers who are genuine Delhi residents.
Nupur:- There are no 2 opinions that govt has faltered badly. I am not batting for schools or mgmt quota. Issue is of level playing field. Till last year there was level playing field because there were 5-6 criterias and no particular category had an edge. There were points for all- distance, first born girl child , alumni, sibling. Unified guidleines ought to have been discussed with all for feedback before finalising . I am sure atleast IST would not have made it if draft guidelines were discussed in public domain.
For last few years no parent went to court. And look this year everyone is in court.
and all are sufferring.
DOE was supposed to submit the data for vacant seats today to HC. If they upload the data to their website then it will be clear that where we are. Whether, any school will be taking 70 pointers or not.
@Babita On the lighter note, my child is not interested in going to school so much, infact its always 'nopes'. Even i am not bothered a lot about his going to school, he is not going to do long divison sums and thus not missing a lot. Keeping your child at home, let him/ her play with kids and learn to socialised and if you can read stories to your child.( I am saying this as a person who works on early childhood care and education). what makes me angry is the sheer selfishness of some people who are holding so many parents to ransom.
@ Kamal....The point is not to blame the genuine people...the point is its us who starts wrong things and the consequence is for everyone...but no we don't believe in fair dealing...we want to gain something by hook or by crook.
@ Risha
when we deposited the fee on 9th, we informed at his playschool that after 11th he will not come, as the session was supposed to be started from 15th, then this SC stay came. So, 11th was his last day at playschool. Now, to send him again to playschool will depend on 21st April hearing.
@Ankush - Correct. That is the most viable solution in the current year. DOE has to take tough stand on this and direct the schools to follow. However I have a feeling that schools will not like this very much.
Only solution to this problem is increasing the seats by 3% or 5% and give these seats to IST. With this all the confirmed seats will remain confirmed & this will remove major contention for PIL(s)
