70 Points Aren't Good Enough!!!

Dear All/ Memebers/ Moderator/ Admin,

Since my Birth, Every day i have almost seen every glance of sunlight belonged to the morning of Delhi till the dawn of sunset that has moved this city with a style and changes.

People changed, Beautification of the architecture decorated its glory and proudly, being a young son and daughters belongs to this soil, we witness the reformation of the city and pledged to always be a true delhites no matter what it may takes.

Delhi always had a painful history of destruction and rising from the dust but the odd forces never able to put her down for a long time. The passion and a will to survive of her people is truly exemplary.

In 1983, I Found my self lucky to get admitted and Studied from Summer Field School, Kailash Colony, New Delhi. My Parents endowed me with the Best Education of that time which they feel proud as they fulfill their entire responsibility as a Father.

Parent hood is not an obligation but rather a bunch of happiness put together to see your kid growing before you and take the best out of it from them.

But now when, my time came to be ready to be a father of a First Baby Boy"Aryan Singh", I pledge to myself to always stand for him as a responsible father and gift him with the best education like my parents inculcated in me.

But Do I stand in my eyes for justifying it the same to him.

Terribly portrayed as a Failure, Its an utter shame to find me in a mess created all around me where i find its a maze nearly coming to impossible to solve.

My Alumini point got lost from a neighborhood as i reside in Daryaganj and its more than 8kms from Kailash Colony.

1st Baby boy has no Distinction in the eyes of Government left where they find Girls are more illiterate and need to be pushed in metro cities like Delhi.

People are finding a tug of war between Interstate Transfer Points and Alumini/ Sibling and taking dates in courts session by session.

But I need to ask, where do i stand with 70 points in my hands and been living in Delhi for almost 35 Years.

My hands are becoming heavier day by day with 70 points as I find none is bothered about my kind of category where i will lost my words when after a decade or so my son will ask the reasons of quarantine away from the best schools of Delhi.

I never made initiations for Donations or Bribe, Thats my Fault!! I tried in 27 Schools all around near me but with no references, Thats my Fault!! I tried to walk on Straight Line, Thats My Fault!!

Manipulating the Words and Defining the EWS by their Means, Richers Getting More Richer by exercising the Suppression on lower Middle Class.

But With No Success AT ALL!!!!

I think Thats The Fate left for a true Delhites for being true to this City with his hard earned money paid in Taxes to built this city once again.

I still Remember, My White School Uniform Collars used to turn black the time i used to realize the pollution in this city 30 years Back.

Only Difference is, We are Turning to more Fresher Air but the Smog and dust of Ignorance still Prevails but for how long it may hamper our Souls, has yet to be answered!!

Mr. Vohra/ Sakshi, I would like to take the opportunity to wish and appreciate your efforts made in all this time to utter our unsung melodies.

I wish you and your team a great success in years to come and hope the misery of all the 70 pointers shall be taken into consideration with a right spirit and gestures.

As draw of lots started my kids name don't figure in any lisit not even in waiting one.You can understand what would hv been our condition.
With each passing day our hope were
Diminishing we become restless.Then a miracle happenEd my son got selected In a good school whose draw we even not attend as both me and my husband were attending seprate draws which were taking place the same day
Dear wat i want to tell you is that the DOL is merely luck based which is favourable to anyone without any bais.
So don't loose faith in god ur child will be showered with his blessing.

I feel the pain suffered by you & many other parents with 70 points, IF you applied in a mix category of schools(not only top rated school) in your area, then you will surely get a chance in 2nd & susequent list.

Govt. 25% EWS : Ah lets us bat for the poor. But hang on who is taking the benefit. In most cases it seems well off people with fake EWS certificates. Result Less number of seats for tax paying open category, whereas fraudsters make merry.

LG 5 Points IST, Alumni: So what if you have lived in Delhi for all your life and contributed to its development. When it comes to admission you can go to hell, we will give preference to person who moved here yesterday. And well it is your fault if you didn't go to a fancy school yourself, so that your kid will get admission under Alumni category. Even fewer seats left. Sorry 70 pointers.

AAP 8km Rule: we don't think enough misery has been done? Let whole of Delhi apply for whole of Delhi. We will ensure that mango people are doing andholan and dharna for next 4 months and may be use services of our colleagues in SC. Let us create 70 point anarchy.

Courts (Judge): Well, well well. How on earth can I not have a say. I will make you pay for coming to me for justice. I will take decisions based on what color shirt I am wearing on a particular day. We will not look into the problem holistically, but rather issue orders like EMIs.

DOE: We are a bunch of brainless folks. We have no data, no details, no policy, no vision and wait a minute no CM. Our job is just to issue a notification from time to time even without applying our mind. We are confused, as we even don't know who is running the Govt. at the moment. On last count 3 people have already governed Delhi since the admission process began.

Poor 70 pointers.........

70 is a number most of us are going to hate for rest of our life

Even Raghubir Singh Junior, Blue Bells, DPS and others have not even issued further considerations to 70 pointers.

I think they should change the motto of EDUCATIONS TO ALL and Principles of Morality.

Best Schools have become the Ancestral Property of the Alumni and siblings.

They have grown so large in Numbers that its nearly impossible to change the practice until they have a will to understand the loops in the system.

My limited knowledge fails to understand the idea behind of granting 5 points to a girl child.

Seen So many people on this forums making a choice between schools like DP and Raghubir Singh Junior. Isn't it a Mockery of the system where we are forced to stand as a clown in a Circus, enjoyed by rest.

Dr. Handa: You are right, EWS and every Alumini and sibling must be under the allotment of specific seats where lottery shall be laid, Rest can be processed by a lottery among general category, IST or any other category be laid down.

But above all, All children will special needs and attentions shall be entertained with utmost priority.

I have a immense faith in the Judiciary, but it seems fading away with the period and time.
