Comment by RAHUL VIJ on January 24, 2014 at 2:55pm: I DO AGREE THAT IN CASE OF TWINS, IF THE ONE CHILD IS SELECTED THEN THE SECOND CHILD WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY SELECTED. BUT IS THE POINT PROVIDED TO FIRST CHILD WILL BE 70 OR 90.

It clearly says you have to fill 2 different forms for both the child and if first is selected then other will automatically get 20 points. see dps rkp site in case of draw of lots both children name would be put together.

Comment by RAHUL VIJ on January 23, 2014 at 10:31pm: V NEED SOME CLARIFICATIONS NOW, AS SO FAR I HAD APPLIED IN SO MANY SCHOOL, BUT NONE OF THEM IS CONSIDERING TWINS AS SIBLINGS CATEGORY. BUT STILL WHEN WE INQUIRED WITH THE AUTHORITIES OF THESE SCHOOL, THEY SAID IF THE DOE CLARIFY THIS ISSUE THEN CERTAINLY THEY WILL CONSIDER TWINS UNDER SIBLINGS CATEGORY.

Comment by shilpa sud on January 23, 2014 at 9:42pm: why only siblings are getting points. siblings will by default get admission in good schools . what about first child? why they have not been given any points. doesn't the first child has the right to study in a good school. only few seats will be left for the first child because siblings will by default get admission as they will have 90 points n first child will have to wait for their luck in draws. as very limited seats will be left. This is unfair.

Comment by Mousum PalChoudhury on January 23, 2014 at 9:34pm: Dear Sumit ji & AN team, please help me and other parents of Twins in understanding the DOE's clarification. It is written that "Under Sibling category, if one of the Twin children gets selected then only the other would be considered under Sibling category". How will it work? Will initially both the twin children get zero points under sibling category and then if one of them appears in the draw of lots, then other automatically the other child gets sibling point. Practically will the school on a real time basis upgrade the points of the other child while the draw of lots is going on? Does not seem practical. Unless I have wrongly interpreted the process, this clarification is adding more confusion. Please take one more step in taking this up and clarifying this.
