Use Google maps. Click "Maps Labs " on bottom left corner and enable "disktance measurement tool".

click on small ruler icon (next to the distance scale bar) and click on two points on the map , it will show aerial distance.

I have twin babies. I have difficulty in registering in St-Pauls School Hauz Khas and Birla Vidya Niketan. I had registered for one kid successfully, on registering second child, the website says  "Data already exist". How to register my second kid???

@Bhavna Arora

logically it should be:    Aerial distance

but if condsidering 'by road distance' then it should be (home to school + school to home ) divided by 2,

as due to one way / no entry / traffic diversions etc, one side journey may be more/less than the other.

Hi,

I lives in Vaishali Ghaziabad that is aprox 6 km away from Salwan Public School, Mayur Vihar Phase III & Salwan public school shows it in his offline form (online form not availabe on website) above 8 km. through this my child will not get 70 points. Can you please help this out to take distance from Google maps or any other for distance criteria.

Agree with Aseem...0 to 8 should not be considered flat

Question in Supreme Court should be raised regarding the uniformity in distance criteria between aerial route and road route as the aerial route can go up to 2times the road distance.
Another issue is it fair that child is not admitted in a school which is just across the road and child living 8km gets a chance?

These are some issues which have to be sorted out by the Hon Supreme Court.

I don't think that we should stop submitting the forms as the major fight is for management quota but not for point system modification.
