Hi Anju,

I was present in NKB, Dwarka draw. But they have carried out draw on the basis of Form number. So tough for any one to remember apart from own.

@Moreshwar Salpekar: What if the neighborhood schools are not up to a parent's expectation? What if a sibling studies in a school which is not in neighborhood?

Comment by Moreshwar Salpekar on February 12, 2013 at 3:53pm

Maharam Tanwar: I know no system will be best. i only say that neighborhood is best because it is supposed to encourage people not to apply too far from home so that kids travel less to and fro school. a school is as good as teachers and students so if good students come to your neighborhood school, chances are that it will improve otherwise no chance. Sibling are good for managementand logistic purposes only. as an example if your two children are not in same school you will have problem but how likely is it that both children will get into same school and how likely is that your first child get into a good school

@srijan shilpi : What would be the nature of the verdict

Comment by Srijan Shilpi on February 12, 2013 at 3:12pm

Private Schools' Managements are well aware in advance about not only the date of the verdict but the nature of the verdict as well.

Natasha Kochhar are you some sort of a lunatic or something, telling me to improve my English comprehension skills?

Didn't you say in one of your posts that India is not a communist or socialist society, it's a capitalist society? While I agree India is not communist (thankfully), are you trying to say a capitalist society is based on Darwin's survival of the fittest theory? You have no idea what capitalism is so don't even bother talking about it. This conversation is over my side. I am not talking to people who can hardly articulate better than primary school students.

students have to compete in university, and lots of meritous kids get left behind because of reservations.. These r all facts because there r just too many people in this coutry and all metros. Govt passes laws like adding 3rd floors, when even the current population density in a neighbourhood is not supported by schools, hospitals, water , electricity.. The problem is much larger, and inequality IS a reality. Look at all successful society models where thee government has created GOOD schools like u are labelling them, with WELL PAID teachers, and pvt schools run parallelly for those who have the money to pay for something better. IT IS the govts responsibility to ensure sustainability of the increased population density created by their own policies!
