This s not d time for all the other NGOs to bump-in now when d decision is to be released  It 'll only delay the judgement.

The circular dated 22/Jan/13 gave an idea that it will be point system this year and more on neighborhood  but what if a kid's name does not appear in any of the neighborhood draw of lots.. It'll remain a question then also.......!!

The PIL is listed for "HEARING" and " NOT PRONOUNCEMENT OF JUDGEMENT". I am not a lawyer, so as  a layman my guess is that the judgement will not come today, isn't it.

The point is, if you have to get to work, or go to meet a principal, or go anywhere to beg for a seat... Do it.. Don't wait for this result.. Time is precious!

It's been very amusing, watching people be so socially responsible with loud voices... And suddenly go mum when their child's name comes in lists.... What does that prove... Will any of you give up your child's seat if gotten through in your first choice school? It's very easily said than done! My son hasn't got through anywhere, and most likely wont... As honest citizens, my husband and I refused to buy a management seat.. Which is only fair that schools should sell it.. Doesn't IIT sell seats to NRIs? To sustain the free education they give out to RESERVED seats... So please all of you calling it bribes, it's a fair sale of management seats... If schools can't sustain financially, they will shut down, have you ever thought of that.. Teachers need better pay, there are NGOs fighting for that.. We're will the money come from... Everyone's ready to raise a voice, but not think once why and how?
