This is Sad.. And expected also.. Most political power man have stakes in schools and profits.. If the court says let the Govt decide on it.. Implies a free hand to the corrupt system

Ms. Rashi...U r lucky one to manage to get admission of both of ur kids...I have applied in 35 schools but irony is that her name did not come in any school except "The Sovereign School", where also i don't think on the basis of the existing points system. So, in this country....Consumer cannot be the king.

New Delhi: There will be no change in the criteria for nursery admissions in Delhi schools, the High Court ruled on Tuesday while saying that the government should consider necessary amendments to the Right to Education Act to include nursery admissions as well.

The Delhi High Court while disposing off the petition filed by social activist Ashok Agarwal said there cannot be different yardsticks for children who are getting admitted to nursery. The High Court said that the government should consider necessary amendments to the Right to Education Act as at present only a child between the age of 6 to 14 years comes under it and a child eligible for admission to nursery is below six years.

Upholding the government's stand, the High Court also ruled that nursery admission for the academic year 2013-14 won't be affected.

Even though my daughter has got admission in one of the best school....luckily.... and i was fearing that HC decision might nullify this.........but i was ready and praying for the right decision........ really dissappointed by HC veridoct and i think Central govt is fully responsible for this. Not suprised it is a multi-100s crore fraud and stake were very high not in delhi but other states also
