DEAR ALL
TWO CASES IN COURT AGAINST SIBLING ALUMNI
SO ONLY ONE HAS BEEN DISMISSED IN COURT NO 9 - NEW CASE NO 45
SOURCE LAWYER IN HIGH COURT .
ONE MORE CASE IS PENDING IN COURT NO 1 IN DB AGAINST SIBLING ALUMNI ( CASE NO 24)
WE ALL SHOULD THINK OF RESOLVING THIS ISSUE...
OPTION 1:-
Like people create residential societies in the same fashion we can make a group of 200 kids and say contribute 12 Lac (for 12 years) each ..... this will sum up as 24 Cr this amount is good enough to open and very good school ..Now These 200 kid will get free education up to 12th and from the next year on words school running expanses can be meet out through new admissions etc.
And such types of schools will resolve all admission drama .... if its worth pls comment or suggest some good options Thanks
the hearing has started.
@Ajay, i don't think that Sibbling points will be removed. It simply doesn't make sense to send two child in two different schools. So relax :)
Moreover if the sibbling points are removed then expect hundreds of more PILs.
What is the case no. of Main PIL?
Ajay - you jumping the gun. I don't think Case 45 is to do with Siblings so relax. this particular aspect will come up for hearing later in the day. Case 45 is most likely to do with re-draws but awaiting confirmations.
Suneet- My friend is a lawyer and I requested her to get information on these case as many people are curious about the outcomes.

New Delhi, March 28 (IANS) The Delhi High Court Friday further extended stay on the nursery admission process and fresh draw of lots in the capital's schools till April 2.
A bench of Acting Chief Justice B.D. Ahmed and Justice Sidharth Mridul also declined to entertain a petition filed by a set of parents seeking to scrap the alumni and sibling categories.
The bench allowed petitioners to withdraw the plea and approach the single judge which was hearing the main case filed challenging the lt governor's notification.
After the court refused to entertain the plea seeking scrapping both the categories, the five and 20 points under alumni and sibling sections will be retained this academic year.
The court's order came after the education department submitted data which showed that a majority of the children admitted in the first draw of lots belonged to 70 pointers who came under the neighbourhood criteria.
Senior advocate Nidhesh Gupta, who is representing another group of parents, said that the alumni and sibling points were a valid classification which has been recognized the world over.
The court is adjudicating the contentious issue of whether a fresh draw of lottery was necessary after the scrapping of the inter-state transfer points on Feb 27.
At present, 95-point system is followed for admissions -- 70 points are allocated to neighbourhood criteria, 20 to sibling and five under alumni category.
