Comment by Anubhuti Bhattacharya on March 3, 2014 at 6:24pm: Shivani..I thinkou are slightly misinformed...we are talkingof CAPPING ofall criterias -ie sibling and alumni.We are NOT talking ofSCARAPPING these criteria . These unlimited criteria have created a priviliged class... You want an idealsituation where bothof your kids study inthe same school (that is still achievable in cities other than delhi) .. whereas people like us will consider ourselves lucky if we manage even a single seat somewhere ...do our children not deserve good education? Do we not pay taxes ? Why should v b lesser citizens just because we are not alumni or are first time parents ?

Comment by Deepak on March 1, 2014 at 2:51pm: if it is redraw, then those selected in the draw of 70 pointers but not confirmed, they should be given first preference . First Preference means , they should be considered for the draw, but in the waiting list , they should be given first preference & onwards , new will be added in to the existing waiting list. I got a 2nd position in the waiting list. I was sure that in the 2nd list , i would have the chance to get admission.

Nice judgement for the fakers and already selected 70 pointers will remain selected as per guidelines.

EWS and Girls Quota are not discussed about so will remain intact as they should be.

Big Thanks to LG,Mr. Vohra, DOE and AN for all their efforts and looking to it that sufferers should not suffer again :)

Mr. LG, you have not changed the guidelines but just killed the seats granted to tranfer cases. How is this a new guideline if most of the earlier decisions stay???
