it is not justifiable to reject those Candidates selected in the 70 points draw

@Vipin I can understand your point. But the 70 pointers and the Girl Child when they got selected in reality had only around 10% seats left for them. Rest by that time were already filled by 75 and 90 pointers. In many schools the  general 70 pointers were no even considered at all. So it will be totally unfair to those lucky ones who have got with only 70 points or through girls child quota if their selection is nullified. I complete agree with Anamika over here.

Lets take a example

Total general Seats 120

Total Application 2000 (consisting 10 sibling + 10 alumni+10 transfer+ 1970 distance)

In that first 30 seats gone to 75 and 90 pointers

In previous case

rest 90 seats go for draw out of 1970 application – now the chances are 90/1970 = 4.57%

Now

A)     now if draw is only go for transfer vacated seats then the chances are goes to 10/1950= 0.51%

B)      And if draw for total balance seats (after alumni and sibling) then the chances are – 100/1980 = 5.05%

Now tell what is the fault of transfer pointers- there is the fault of our government only.

And Secondly we are the parents who wants to abolish transfer 5 points. Now the same abolished then accept that decision and go for draw as per B point (i.e. from the past point, not from the middle path) as the some are selected then the fair chance not given to the transfer pointers…

That’s not fair at all…..

I strongly feel draw between 70 pointers who were even not getting chance for draw, now should get with Transfer cases as 70 pointers for remaining seats.

People claiming transfer points just like any other quota or points are claimed as per the guidelines.Its not anyone s fault.The guidelines r as such.It will be totally injustice to the genuine transfer pointers if there will be no redraw.

Agreed Anamika The Logically you are right and process should be defined to give justice to chile with 70 points gets selected through draw.

This year the admission process is already delayed. If the Guidelines keep changing again again then I am afraid the session won't start in April at all. What is the guarantee that someone will not file a petition against the new guidelines. To be fair to everybody the best solution should be. What has the 70 pointers and girl child's who got selected done. We should not be unfair to them.  

1. Keep the selected girl childs (This draw has been made on the basis of Girl Child irrespective of points)

2. Keep the general category who got selected on the basis of 70 points only.

3. Keep the Waitlisted General Category & Wait Listed Girl Child as it is.

4. Now have a fresh draw for the vacant seats due to scrapping of transfer cases. The draw should include the earlier transfer cases, the remaining 70 pointers  & all the existing Waitlisted candidates (Girl and general).
