Comment by indpreet kaur on February 26, 2014 at 6:37pm: The city government Wednesday informed the Delhi High Court that it has scraped the five additional points to be given to children of parents who come under the inter-state transfer category in nursery admissions. The department of education informed Justice Manmohan that it carried out a survey in 58 leading private schools in the city and found massive misuse of of the transfer points. A notification in this regard will come Thursday. In December last year, Lt. Governor Najeeb Jung set down new nursery admission norms in which five points were to be allotted in inter-state transfer cases.

Thx to AN for their hardwk n support for what is right. Every system will ve flaws n it will be hard to keep all happy. Hope this ruling n whatever now the LG decides gives every child a fair chance to a good education.

As Girl's Quota draw was irrespective of these 70/75/90 points so I believe that atleast for girl's quota redraw should not be there.

Because otherwise the probability of selection of that 75 pointers decreases significantly atleast they also have the right to try their luck for all seats left by 90 pointers and 75 (alumni) pointers.
