Nursery Admissions in Delhi NCR 2026-27

Form Dates | Admission Criteria | Results | Fee Details | List of All Schools

I fully support the cause taken up by the Major. I feel inter- state transfers should be considered and 5 points system  be re introduced. Maybe transfers from NCR region could be excluded. The system has to consider the loss/suffering ( which may be intangible to the people who never seen a transfer) subjected to a family which is made to move from corner of the country on Govt orders.  The logic is then why preference should be given to Alumni and siblings. In this manner few old/good schools will become  KHANDANEE alma mater. This is not in the spirit of my childs RTE. If transfer cases are being scrapped then ALUMNI points should be SCRAPPED too. I FEEL ONLY DISTANCE AND MAY BE SIBLING COULD BE RETAINED.

As per the constitution of India, limited reservation to be provided in the following person / community:-

1. Socially backward

2. Economically backward

3. Educationally backward &

4. Politically backward

In case of admission in school, if Govt. is providing reservation to EWS it falls in the perview of the above criteria (Although large chunk is misused). If alumini is provided with reservation (unlimited) it does not fall in any of the above criteria. Hence giving reservation to Alumini is unconstitutional and void ab initio and court will certainly decide in favour of general public.

I filled 46 forms and till now no results. And I have 3 good schools within 1/2 km of my home. No preference for distance have decreased my chances and why should we bear the cost of transport which is also approx. 2K . Why should my child get up hr earlier and reach hr later. Why burden kid . Why make them travel eight kms.

I agree Mamta that chances have not increased drastically, but even the staggered point system is not going to help the ones who live in ares with not many good schools nearby. Till last year, every school had its own point system. That way people not qualifying in one were able to qualify in other due to different criteria. This year the point system is common for all schools, that is the main issue as the transfer cases were getting points everywhere. Even I am not sure how far is the scrapping of transfer points going to help.....coz I havent secured a single seat for my first born boy as yet :(

But that was not last year with distance slab. This year 0- 8 km flat 70 marks increasing number of applications in each school where as ealier people applied in near by schools only. And transfer points will also give benifit in only 0- 3 km schools which were only 4-5. The scrapping of distance slab should have been the main isssue. Even now with transfer points removed have ur chances increased .No. People without alumni schools in neighbourhood r not getting admissions to even single schools. I am not advocating transfer points but iam unjustifing flat 70 points for neighborhood. Think these is only point which should be discussed.

Alumni points are applicable for 2 schools max. unlike the transfer points which are applicable in all the schools.

People r moving away from their homestate where they will get alumini marks . So they won't be able to get into any schools. Thanks to gooogle but earler transfer people did not even know of all the schools in new place hence the marks . Transfer marks always existed. Why all hulla this year. Because distance slab were svrapped.

Those who are pained by transfers should not Plan transfers according to school admissions. Neither they should be entitled to points at the beginning of session.

The real essence of giving points to transferees was to ensure that when they are transferred their ward  should get admission. This relief transferees have misused instead get transferred to secure admissions. dont think for a moment that no body knows your schemes.

Agreed Mr. Jaswal

only those who r in the transferable jobs can only understand the pain.

All the govt. employees are subjected to such pain as there is no fixed period of stay any place. if govt. will not come forward who will.

Transfer points are justified and am strongly in favor of this

the only thing is that it requires like any other thing a strong scrutiny so that mal-practice can be stopped .
