Rules of fees to be forfieted/deducted in case of withdrawl

Hello

      I would like to understand if there are any guideline or rules o be followed by schools in case i withdraw name of my child after admissions

    There are some schools who have published first list and now we have to deposit admission fee of about Rs 40k - 50K. However when i ask school authorities, just in case i withdraw the name later on due to any reasons, how much amount would be refundable

   As per rules, there should be some standard guidelines of maximum amount any school can deduct

The guidelines ....i don't know the source but following is that should be followed..

Reg Fees, Admission Charges, one month tution fees is non refundable if you withdraw within a specified time...rest all should be refunded.....but schools often flout the norms.

Exactly! but i feel its high time DoE and Hon'ble court should publish and implement these or similar guidelines

Parents should together file a complaint in DOE, if possible through this forum only.
