Hi all,

I'hv also applied in DAV Srestha Vihar but haven't received any sms today though hv got the sms confirmation on submission of form a week back. It would be great if someone can help with additional information i.e. does the today's sms is related to some minimum points due to which selected parents hv got the sms or anyone can go and attend the draw who has applied in DAV e.g in my case

Nitin - I was not called for the discussion in DAV Dayanand Vihar. However few other people on this forum got the SMS from DAV dayanand vihar. I am not among those.

I got the SMS yesterday from DAV Sreshtha Vihar which I have posted.

As posted by other fellow parents who attended lot in DAV dayanand Vihar, they have mentioned that the draw was for children with 50 points and some 51 forms were shortlisted during the draw.

To me this looks to be a draw for waiting list. I think DAV dayanand vihar is going to put up both 1st list and waiting list on 15th Jan 2015.

Rest we will have to wait till tomorrow to see facts.

Hi,

Today there was draw at Shreshta Vihar and the parent need to be there in the school during the draw time. My child name was shortlisted among the 750 names, however I did not went to school today during the draw time. Can anyone tell me now what to do next. would there be any list for the selected candidates publishing on the site. I do not know whether my child name is selected in draw or not?

Gautam the draw of lot is happening to choose from candidates with tied points. (It may be for waiting list or for confirmed list)

Most of the child has scored points on criteria 1 & 4 (as per below table). So the max points from criteria 1&4 is 50. and there will be lot of candidates with this points. (as my form number was above 1500's so i am saying this)

so i believe draw of lots is between candidates with 50 points.
