Nursery Admissions in Delhi NCR 2025-26

Form Dates | Admission Criteria | Results | Fee Details | List of All Schools

Almost all the school lists are out and unfortunately my child hasn't got admission in any school.

Shall I get him admitted to a play school. Will that be a good option?

same here, almost all schools are closing admissions and my son's name has not come in any. he goes to mothers pride for play school. i plan to continue nursery there only.

Dear All

Wait for second list or third list before giving fees in play school .

NCR school if you stay near by could be alternative

sticking with Playschools is one of the option.. But I feel it should be the last resort.. cause getting admission in Pre-Primary will be tougher.. uless you are planning to stay in Delhi for a temporary period (1/2 yrs).

Would advise to get in touch with school administrations and think about management qouta..

+ There are certain schools that you can still evaluate/ visit,, might not be well known...

I hope you get a seat in second lists... and all will be well.. I understand how is feels to be a parent,,have been in a situation myself...

You may even think about relocating outside Delhi (Greater Faridabad/ Noida)... get in touch with schools in Faridabad/ Greater Faridabad.. seats are vacant over there and you can get through DPS Greater Faridabad as well.. I was about to opt for this option,,thank fully got through in one school..

I am also facing the same problem. Really worried what to do next, will go for management quota as no other option left though its against my principles but can't wait for next year as the condition will be same.

St. Xaviers in civil lines takes only 4+ year students.

There are few others as well that take only 4+.

For girls, atleast Presentation Convent and Victoria Senior Secondary School in Central Delhi take only 4 + kids.

Hi

That depends. All schools have garnered 25% management quota seats, and now they are up in market for sale. So if you can afford, you can go ahead. Else get your child in a play school and try next year.

But the problem is majority of schools don't take 4+ child for Nursery admission, though you may try for primary.

problem is worst than realised. schools are not displaying their second lists. presidium AV and kulachi when contacted are saying that theirs seats are full through first list. kulachi is refusing to entertain even waiting list candidates. modern school shalimar bagh  not displaying second list and informed that whoever would be selected in second list would be called telephonically. it appears only fairness is shown by draw but process is arbitrary.

For Kulachi Hansaraj, my kid name was not there in General or Wait list.. Still i got a call from them 2 weeks back to come for admission with 45K cash. I didn't consider because of better option available in hand.

Parents, you may also drop in your application at the school reception. do mention why XYZ is a school of your choice and your registration number and other relevant details.

Last year we were in the same boat..my daughter couldn't qualify in any of the Nursery draws, but we dropped in applications to few selected schools and later got calls to meet their principal. they took a small interview & we got admission in a sought after school...

U never know it may work...pl give it a try...

I agree with rakhi
