@Jang....I had gone to see the 2nd list.....The one that had 120 names. Our name was not there and frankly speaking I was glad. They don't even have a board displaying the school name. When we went there to collect the form, I had to ask them whether it was Summer Fields school.

my son and his cousin both got 70 point same criteria same locality but his cousin got selected in 3rd list and my son not. i given an application to school please clarify me on which terms you are not selected my son. i dont know on which basis summer filed school selected applicants.

@Smriti Trehan.....very well said. We have a girl and the very reason that we have not applied to any girls' schools is that we don't know we might have a boy in future and then it would be impossible for him to get admission any where :)
It's funny planning for such things when we haven't even planned our second baby yet :p

Once a day would also come when before marriage couples would discuss the schooling, alumni certificates, extra achievements, proximity to various schools and then decide whether they want to get married as well, else the future of the kids might jeopardize.

Even Alumni does not help in some schools who feel being extra secular will super enhance their image... giving points to minority in general quotas and out casting Alumni, hard to digest...
