Bij Sir Rocks :)
thanks maa'm...we parents are just helping each others..with your cooperation..
Hi

Pls advice. We live in jasola and my wife works with amity university. My daughter has secured admission in Amity N, & Mayoor N, and we are supposed to deposit fees by 24th. We have 1st interaction in DPS N on 25th morning.

We are worried in terms of mis managed transport system, poor toilets, non A/c, high Student teacher ratio in amity.M
Mayoor suits us best in terms of approach access and transport, as bus comes till our gate.

People say DPS is better option and one can take risk for it, but it's uncertain, and chances are rare???? What criteria DPS N follows, i am a businessman, my wife is lecturer, and both of us are well educated??

We want to secure a seat in noida, and will definitely try in any good school in Delhi later.

Pls advice, should we deposit fees in any of these school, and give up later, incase we get through DPS. What you recommend? Looking forward for your valuable suggestions.

Regards

Lalit
Hi Lalit..
we can feel your dilemma..
but pls rather than going on anyone's feedback..you pls just visit 1st to both of these campuses..
as your spouse is from Amity University..she can have the correct insider's info on Amity-N's facilities..
one ponit comes to my mind is that Amity-N has so many sections and so many children in Nursery..but if we see that in larger perspective, then can't we argue that Amity-N is doing that for goodsake of we parents, as if they are capable of providing big infrastructure and bigger pool of teachers to abosrb this larger intake of children in Nursery....then its for betterment of we parents that most of us have greater probability to make it to Amity...
...argument against that it can be what you have mentioned; crowd, untidiness..etc...but it is managable....and teacher student ratio is being controlled, most of the schools, by keeping 2 teachers in one classroom of 40-50 children ..in sense effective ratio comes out to be 1/20-25..
..I feel Mayoor is a very good school too...and if it suits for your kid and yourselves then its an apt choice looking at the distance from your Jasola house to Mayoor campus (however, Amity also is of same distance)..
regarding DPS-N you can only wait after giving your best in the interaction..that may be a better choice but distance is added further by 2 km.

All the Best..
