Which is the better option Amity Noida vs Khaitan as KPS is very near to my house and AMity is having good brand name. Confused which should be opted for....

if you go by popular choice then Amity is a better option..
Amity buses are running in almost all parts of Noida...
i think in longer term Amity will surely be a good option for your child looking not only at brand name/reputation but also quality of education, sports & cocurricular activities.
Khaitan is a good school too with all round development but Amity is far more ahead in terms of academic reputation.

congrats! & best wishes..
i think you must have complied your documents neatly in a file which you would have carried in earlier interactions in other good schools.You would have submitted some documents photocopy during form filling at Apeejay also.. so its good to have originals of all in your dossier-educational & work experience certificates, child's date of birth certificate etc...the panel may ask for it or not..but it boosts our confidence when we answer some specific questions regarding these parameters and we can show a proof if needed...
General questions are asked in the interaction---regarding your educational & occupational background, child's nature, some strong postive traits of the child, why Apeejay Noida, what do you expect from this school, one frequesntly asked question is how you spend your time with the child...
Pls be honset and give your answers confidently...you should help the panel in guiding the interview process, it can really become a stress free mutual rapport once you confidently build on your points and make the panel realise that your child is the apt choice for the school and vice versa.
Pls note that there is no right or wrong answers for Open Ended questions ..and its the way we articulate that does matter some times.
Child may be asked questions in same room by the panel or some other teacher but very elementary ones.

you are right in your feedback..as we parents have somewhat not discussed much about Somerville here..(but as Sakshi ji have mentioned you another thread of last year discussion you can get good inputs from there)..
..see we had already discussed here that Somerville form submission as open till 1:00 PM on 25th Sept this year.
They already had started calling parents by sending Courier (after shortlisting as per their criteria) from 16th Sept Onwards...
..Interactions at Somerville Noida are goin on....from 8:00 am to 12:00pm..
..Parents have to come with the child for interaction...pls carry original documents with you in a file (advisable if they ask for any proof regarding child's age, yours- residence, education, work etc.)..
it's a simple interaction of child and parents with the principal/head mistress mam alongwith one other teacher in the same room...where child is asked very elementary questions-colours, patterns, shapes, fruits, vegetables, animals, rhymes...in a very easy way to make & keep child comfortable......taechers just see the way child responds..it does not matter correctness/incorrectness..but the way child handles this...so practice your child at home in a compfortable manner so that he feels at home at the school too...
...Regarding parents interaction the senior faculty-principal/headmistress mam, has a cordial discussion with parents regarding their educational/work background, how they feel the Somerville school is better for their kid, what they expect from the school, how they generally deal with the chil at home, some general parenting questions....but all in a simple stress free way...so pls be coinfident and answer honestly because its values & morales that does matter here...
Its one of the best school..where interactions are handles in such a systematic and generous manner...and most of the parents feel good during & after this..

Our child got selected in Amity Vasundhara (Sec-6) and we have already deposited the fees and secured a seat before trying for other schools.
He has been shortlisted in first round of interaction of Father Agnel,Noida Sec-62 and second round of interactionn was also gud.Final results r expected on 29th sept
If he is able to make it to Father Agnel, which one..amity or father agnel...we should prefer...
Both schools r 6 kms from our residence...
Dear members....plz share ur views to enable us in making informed decision....
