I don't know about Ryan, so some knowledible parents have to contribute on it.
but yes Cambridge is a very good school for all round performance of the child, and is the oldest pvt school of Noida established in 1981 before Apeejay.For detail description about Cambridge pls read viewpoints of parents given already in this thread and other threads in the Forum.

Hello to all parents. I've submitted the forms in Cambridge, sommerville, Vishwa Bharti, Bal Bharti & Ryan Noida. My child has been selected in Ryan and the other schools' results would probably be out by 5th oct. Though Ryan has been here for quite sometime now and is very near to my house, but i need somebody else views on its overall performance and environment before putting up my child there. I would really appreciate your suggestions.

My child has been selected in Somerville school. I had my second interaction in Amity Noida & Apeejay on the 30th SEP, results for both are still awaited. But Somerville has asked me to deposit the fees by Monday, 4th Oct 2010 by 11:00 AM. I am in a fix as my first choice is Amity or Apeejay. My daughter has also made it to KPS final list and I have time till 5th OCT to submit the fees.
A couple of questions:
1) Should I go ahead and secure a seat in Somerville?
2) Somerville - Have been asked to submit 36000, how much of this is refundable if I cancel the admission?
3) Any other thoughts / suggestions :-)?

Hi Tapan,
Somerville Noida is a very good school which is a dream school for many parents of Noida due to its consitent excellent academic & cocurricular progress.The fee is also one of the lowest in Noida making it as a great value for money school.
Its right to have your own preference for Amity or Apeejay, but as you still in wait of thier results which can be of any outcome. So its prutent to deposit fee and secure your seat at Somerville right now, which you can get reimbursed as per school's rule (pls ask the school for details about this) and take admission in your choice of school later.

Somerville no doubt is a good school and the academic results are excellent, but I am a bit concerned regarding overall development of my child. Academics are definitely important, but overall personality development is also very important.
A few more questions which will help me come out of this dilemma.
Which extra curricular activities are available in the school?
How is the school in terms of personality development, overall development and holistic growth of the child?
What is the student to teacher ratio?
Level of attention and guidance given to the children?
