Interaction In DPS indirapuram about to Begin
Hello All.
we received a letter and a call for interaction from DPS indirapuram on 1st Oct 2010.the date given to us is 5th Oct at 12.00 pm.

I think interactions are on the basis of reg no. becuase as one parent told that they called to school and they informed that till date they only called till reg no. IN-300. but I am also very much confused.

Congrats Gauri you also got a call from APJ and you have already deposited the fee in Father agnel. According to me Father agnel - Disciplane, academic records are very good. APJ - Academic records and extra curricular activities are also good. My cousin just completed 12th from APJ Sheikh Sarai. He got 94% marks (science) and he is also very in good in other activities. If I have option to choose then I will definately choose APJ

no gauri its not too far. Its is around 17-18 Kms. Do you know earlier my thinking is same as yours but When i see a little girl travelling from Vaishali to Lotus valley sec 126 Noida then my thinking is changed. by the time Children will adjust accordingly. If you are working and your office is not too far like delhi or gurgaon then it APJ is OK kyunki agar emergency main jarorat pade to aap asani se school pahuch paye It is more important.

Hello parul,
One of my collegue's Three kids are studing in DPS Indirapuram. In 9th, 7th and 1st class. He is satified with school. He said it is very good school according to academic records. DPS is very big brand it self and famous for studies. But i also heard so many thing about DPS IP that the crowd is not good. But in my case i have no option left so i am also Hoping that my child atleast get admission in this school.

Can you or anyone in this group detail me on DPS IP image? As I am yet to shift at my new house in IP, I personally have no clue. But I have heard few people saying its not a good school but being DPS brand & nearest school option I feel its good option to choose. pls help.

thanks for sharing perceptions and experiences...
as Indirapuram and nearby area of vasundhara, vaishali, kaushambi in Ghazibad is relatively new developed areas of last 10-12 years than its closes peer Noida which was built in 1976 ...so definitely the schools in this cluster is also newer ones (8-10 years old) in comparision of the oldest Noida schools (cambridge, apeejay & dps noida--all in 1981-82).
hence these schools in larger indirapuram cluster can't be compared with that of top5-6 of Noida cluster.
but yes the area is quite developed with a modern cosmopolitan population so schools are also making them best in terms of all required standards.
big names of amity & dps are here in indirapuram...and they are none less than their peers in noida in terms of any parameter...
DPS Indirapuram however not being a core school is a very good school in terms of academics & extracurriculars and has a good blend of students from all strata of society.
the school is following dps family rigour very intensely and showing excellent academic results from 2007-08 onwards in 10th and 2008-09 onwards in 12th CBSE board..
NTSE toppers, winners of olamipads of science and maths and foreign educational tours---which are hallmark of any great DPS school --are all present in DPSI too...
infrastructure is quite big and having all the facilities required in a top class sr.secondary school..
the best part is strong dedicated faculty of 250 plus under able guidance of the principal Meeta Rai maa'm..who was ex-principal of Core DPS Schhol DPS Vasant Kunj...and most of the senior teachers are experienced in Delhi based elite DPS schools..
...i think looking at all this potential and bright future of the school- Education World survey 2010 has given DPSI a rank of 66 on Pan India level (if we analyze the EW survey then its having 37th rank in all best Delhi&NCR schools, and 8th in all best Ghaziabad-Noida schools)
....In nursery teacher:student ratio-1/20 (2 teachers in class of 40 in each section) a very good one for personalised attention to each and every tiny kid...
i think its a very good school in rank of top 4-5 noida schools alongwith...

please help as i have blocked a seat there but also have got through cambriodge noida,,owing to transport issue i have my doubts..

DPS Ghaziabad-Vasundhara (DPSGV) is a very good school in this part of Ghaziabad. It's a branch of DPS Ghaziabad, Meerut Road. Both of these schools are not in any way connected to the reputed DPS Society, however, they have created a niche in itself in quality education in the NCR schools.
As we know DPSG is a reputed school for academics and is churning out toppers of CBSE consiustently year after year, DPSGV is relatively new school with 8-9 years of operations, but here also they have lived upto the expectation of the parent school.Equal thrust on academics (toppers scoring more than 92% in CBSE 10th &12th) as well as cocurriculars (fine arts, music, and sports are empasised on). School prinicipal & teachers are very competent & cordial and i have seen their students quite confident and learned.Overall its a good school with no show off, and as Cambridge Noida being quite far from this area DPSGV will surely be a better choice for you if you wish.

After registration no IN-300 interaction will be after common welth games i.e. 18th Oct onwards. They have dispatched letters upto registration IN-300 as per reception and gate office of DPS.
