My daughter has been selected in Apeejay. We had our interaction on 4th and got the call today morning. Thanks to the forum for keeping us all abreast of the latest.

Hi Mr. Lalit..hearty congratulations...
I think Apeejay is a far better choice at this point of time than that of The Millenium.
Apeejay is a very reputed school with a proven track record of around 29 years in all round performance.
The Millenium school, Noida has been started (by Educomp solutions) with well perceived mission of providing a world class education methodology well aided by latest technology, but this school will take some more time to come out with some meaningful results.
Moreover Apeejay can be well benchmarked with peer class of great schools of Noida like DPS, Amity &Apeejay while Millenium has a different strata of society to cater for and can be compared with likes of Holistic schools such as The Pathways, Genesis, Lotus Valley, Kothari, The Shriram Millenium & Step by Step.

Hello Sir,

Thanks for your reply. I am going in favour of Millennium at this point of time and give the school a try. They claim to be doing things for kids, let's see if they are able to.

Another thing that goes in their favour is that they belong to the Educomp group where we are currently sending our daughter to (Roots to Wings) and found that to be quite ok.

I compared their fees as well with APJ and found that their tuition fees is comparable to APJ, but the other charges like Bus and Meals are high. I somehow have formed a more favourable opinion for Millenium rather than APJ !!!!

In which date Sommerville called you for admission, also could you please confirm the date criteria of somerville 3+ as on1st April 2011 or 3+ as on 30th Sep 2010. Pls help me.

They gave the call on the same day of interaction,on 7th oct and told us to collect the admission form,filled forms shd be submitted by 15th oct.The age criteria of somerville 3+ as on1st April 2011.

Submission of form : Duly filled form along with recent passport photo of child and copy of valid birth certificate should be reach on or before 25th September by 1:00 pm

i also think so age criteria is 3 years on 30th Sept.2010.. But when i was waiting for interaction in somerville, GN branch. Then the guy who was taking 300 rs/- for recipt was saying criteria is 3 years.. Lil confused.

I think you should wait to open the school and confirm from them directly.
