Nursery Admissions in Delhi NCR 2025-26

Hello -

Just wanted to know if child's passport considered as valid residence proof criterion?

In my today's experience, schools are asking for parents' Voter ID or Passport and seems like they are not considering child's passport as valid residence proof?

Can you please suggest?

Regards,

Saurabh Khanna.

Passport in name of parents or child is a valid residence proof.

Thank you Lathaa.

What happened today is that, in two of the schools, they asked for Parent's' Residence apart from my daughter's Passport(residence proof), while others schools did not ask for the Voter ID as my daughter's passport was attached.

But now I am not sure if I should go back to those schools who accepted daughter's Passport without asking for parent's Voter ID proof to have them accept/add our Voter ID also to be included in the already submitted forms to them.

It is confusing and not sure of they can reject our forms later on due to this issue even though they accepted our forms with daughter's Passport(residence proof) without parent's Voter ID(residence proof).

Any suggestions?

Many Thanks,

Saurabh

You can also give any of other valid proof given in notice if you are confused .
Pls name thev schools.

Many thanks once again Sakshi for your reply.

Not having uniform standards by all schools creates lot os issues for the parents during this time, and that is where this forum is a big help.

Thanks,
